I like the pink coat although I think I would prefer it to be a bit more tailored - but I love that bubblegum shade.

She interacts well with people - she always seems interested.
As nice and personable she looks, the outfit is just not very attractive on her. The pink is a good color but the coat looks like a big box with no shape and it is so short. I was trying to figure out just the design of the dress. Is it cut in strips and then sewn together? Some below the waist is bias but the detail for that is lost in the print or weave. It is a boring, weird dress. If you are going to sew together all of those pieces, then why not in a fabric that shows that uniqueness?

ReplyDeleteThe colour suits her, but the style and fit aren't terribly flattering. Fashion aside, she appears to carry out her fair share of royal duties, of which are largely unreported.

ReplyDeleteShe seems to be very genuine and connects well with people, especially children.
I do wonder about the point of this visit to Estonia.
Isn't that the coat Sophie wore for the Easter Service at Windsor Castle? If so I loved the colour then and hated the shape and my opinion has not changed one bit.
ReplyDeleteThat coat pulls in the upper arms and it has no shape at all. Sophie may have put on some weight lately which might account for the poor fit of the coat. It seems like she needs to pull it forward a bit but is does not have a good shape to it.

ReplyDeleteLooks like the coat is gathering up, and not sitting properly on her frame. We've seen the dress a few times, but this time, it's looking a wee bit tight.
