I really like Maxima's dress and her earrings are perfect for it. Unfortunately her hair is a total flop to me though.
ReplyDeleteIt's just a little less messy than usual. She could have done better for such a formal occasion.
DeleteBut the 2nd and the 3rd photo give an idea about how great she'd look with a stylish bob.
Deleteshe looks great in my opinion..that's how you rock a floral maxi dress
ReplyDeleteMaxima looks wonderful. Dress is lovely. Her makeup is more restrained than usual and she looks younger. There is less of the harsh cheek blush and heavier foundation.
ReplyDeleteI agree for the softer makeup, it makes her look fresh and healthy.
DeletePerfection, what a beautiful couple!!
ReplyDeleteNot my favourite dress
ReplyDeleteMaxima looks very lovely. The dress's pattern looks a little too busy and flowery for my tastes.
ReplyDeleteShe looks lovely with that dress, it definitely brings the spring into the room. Máxima, what is wrong with that hair? I suppose you have your own hair dresser, you must let her go.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right! Her hairdresser is obviously not good. This style is an interesting try to do something different with her frazzled hair, but it is technically bad done. The back looks terrible.
DeleteHer hair looks awful at the back.
DeleteI like everything else.
Wonderful gown, with strong flowery pattern which suits Maxima, and she looks fresh and rested. Cherry, I agree, she must find another hairdresser.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! Not a striking choice of earrings (the opaque rosy stones look like plastic pieces) but they fit the dress which suits her perfectly. Her hair could be better indeed but at least it doesn't swim around her head in unkept locks.
ReplyDeleteLes boucles d'oreille sont en diamants et perles de corail peau d'ange ! Ou en matière plastique ,Mais je ne le crois pas .
ReplyDeleteDont't get me wrong, I'm not teasing you: I totally believe they are made of coral or other noble material but... they still _look_ plastic to me :D
Delete😜👏
DeleteAt last a pretty, bekoming dress, lovely make-up and a reasonably (for Máxima) kept hair! And who is also there looking fab? Princess Beatrix, of course.
ReplyDeleteI just dont get it why people are in love with Maxima's style. Agreed no one can rock a tiara like her but I for one find her sense of style fussy and overly dramatic and please don't get me started on her hair. Maxima needs to simplify her clothes and jewellery before pilling so many pieces on. It just takes away from her natural beauty and proves so distracting from the attractive woman that she is.
ReplyDeletePeople use to say that is her 'argentinian flair' .... Well, I am from South America too (Brazil), know a lot of argentinians, and totally agree with you: it's fussy and over dramatic. And sometimes it's way over the top.
DeleteNot normally a fan of floral, but I really like Maxima's dress. It's busy, but it works.
