On April 20, 2017, Queen Mathilde and King Philippe of Belgium received heads of diplomatic missions accreditated to Belgium, at the Royal Greenhouses in Laeken, Brussels. Queen Mathilde wore Dries Van Noten coat from Spring Summer 2016 collection and she carried a specially designed clutch in the same colours. |
Perfect!, vibrant colour for the Queen, (although it could have been tailored by a student, not by a high-priced name). And I bet the dress can not fullfill our dreams from what I can see. Waist looks strange. But all in all the right- and silky outfit for the event and place. The King is always holding her hand as if he needs help.
ReplyDeleteThe dress may be quite nice but coat and clutch are pure horror. I give her an extra point for her hair, it looks a bit softer and more relaxed.
ReplyDeleteI like it! Mathilde looks young, this coat gives her a playful look, her hair is nicely done and she feels good. Yes!
ReplyDeleteI don't like this huge coat but it's not as bad as the one Maxima wore recently. The colour suits Mathilde, however. Her hair looks so nice in this softer style.
ReplyDeleteI won't be a huge fan of the coat but it's a nice change from the rather fitted or fit and flare styles every royal lady wears nowadays. Certainly a light year away from Máxima's ugly sack the other day.
ReplyDeleteAnd this magenta pink suits Mathilde better than anyone else I know.
