Princess Mary attended the premiere of 'Jaha's Promise' documentary film

On March 16, 2016, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark attended the premiere of "Jaha's Promise" documentary film shown at Copenhagen Grand Theatre for the opening of Copenhagen International Documentary Festival. Jaha's Promise tells about the life of Jaha Dukureh who is a Gambian little girl. Jaha Dukureh was circumcised at a very young age as many girls in Gambia and at the age of 15, she was forced to get married with a 40 years old man living in New York. Jaha's Promise is a touching story about female circumcision, forced marriage and courage of confrontation with the society. (The Crown Princess wore an Zara Crepe Frock Coat)

  1. Love the jacket and pants. The blouse is harder to figure out.

  2. Her clothes look good -- polished and professional. But there have been changes to her face. Please leave your face alone, Mary.

  3. Love the lacy camisole or blouse. Please share if you find it Ms. Electra!

  4. Not a big fan of the shoes but a great outfit.

  5. Elegant and polish look, but this time I see changes on her face too. Sorry but she is to pretentious in her way to look zthe best she can.

  6. I love the lacy blouse, too. Also, she's really had something done to her face. She looks so different. I so hate when women who don't need this kind of work do it. It's a very high maintenance...from what I've been told a person needs more botox and more frequently as time goes on. The body needs more to maintain the same look.
Mary, you were already beautiful! Just too much!

  7. Pine: What? Denmarks beautiful and down to earth Mary is one of the few royal ladies who doesn't have anything at all done. She does not even use botox, but still have all her natural linjes. She looks exactly like herself, unless other royal ladies. I love that. Respect Mary.

    1. Pukken Woman: Respect for Mary, but you are wrong, she is not one of the few royal ladies!
Mary has done something to her face for almost 8-10 years (but nothing into her lips)!! That's why she looks a bit different every 5-6 month! I think she is very careful it doesn't look too unnatural, as it does on her former sister in law countess Alexandra!

  9. I don't think Mary has done anything other than lighten her hair by adding a few highlights, which is pretty normal, most women seem to colour their hair. Mary's face looks exactly the same as it did before. In my opinion Mary is ageing well, she has a few wrinkes around her eyes and on her neck as well as some discolouration on her décolletage which is not uncommon for Australian women (if we forgot to use sunscreen there when we were younger).

As for the outfit, elegant but the overly slim pant is not quite my cup of tea. For more formal attire I prefer a slightly looser fitting leg on a pant with a longer length, to me a pant that skims the heal of the shoe almost covering the shoe looks far more elegant. An ankle length pant seems more informal in my opinion and looks better when worn with flats or boots.

    1. Agree about the trousers. I hope that normal (full) length trousers with a normal straight leg will become the norm again, with cropped and skinny versions the exception. And I will never find cropped or skinny trousers elegant with heels.

  10. Love the whole look. Although I agree with @it's me, a longer less fitting trouser would have been a better option.

  11. This outfit is lovely! If I may nitpick a bit (I will anyway), the proportions of the jacket seem a bit off to me, but it's still very becoming.

I also don't think she's had much work done, if any. Even if she has, that's her prerogative - live and let live. She's beautiful either way and more importantly, she always seems to be genuinely warm, caring, and engaged.

  12. She looks swollen in the face.

  13. I agree that her face looks slightly different. And she has the EXACT same facial expression in every single picture.
