In a world premier sporting event, Monaco will host the Riviera Water Bike Challenge (RWBC) on Sunday, June 4, 2017, in support of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation. The 21 kilometers between Nice and Monaco will be travelled on Schiller S1 water bikes. To bring attention to the Riviera Water Bike Challenge, Princess Charlene will be hosting a benefit gala at the Monaco Yacht Club on March 24. |
Je ne suis pas convaincue de l'intérêt de ce mode de locomotion, pas facile a garer devant chez soi .
ReplyDeleteSecond picture is one of the best I have seen of Charlene. In first pic; it is easy when you can bike downhill :-))
ReplyDeletePhotographer has forgotten to fix perspective.
Yes, the best and most natural look of her face in the second photo. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis sport looks ridiculous to me. But I agree, photo no. 2 is one of the best pictures we have ever seen of Charlene, she looks young, relaxed and happy. She is best when it comes to sports and children.
ReplyDeleteHa!! And a husband who adores and respect her, this Lady is lucky!!!!!!
DeleteThat seems like a great way to exercise and enjoy the water at the same time. I hope the water bike takes off.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder she has such a wonderful figure, with this type of exercise!!
ReplyDeletePoor Beth every thing seems ridiculous to you, but race is for a very good course - how can a benefit gala be ridiculous? I again think your platinum hair colour is ridiculous for the twenty first century!! Well done Princess Charlene, very beautiful and sporty. Some of the crown princess can follow the example set by Princess Charlene and will not have the need for disappearing a year!!!
ReplyDeleteWow Anna there's no need to be so rude towards Beth. Making fun of her hair color is just immature and being petty. Agree to disagree but don't start personally putting down her appearance.
Delete@ Anna-Marie Punt, you may not be up to date about hair color trends. Next to red, the top fashion colors for 2017 are silver, grey and - Lo and behold - platinum :-))
DeleteAnd I still think crossing the sea on a bicycle installed on a boat looks ridiculous. The classic rowing looks much more elegant in my eyes and is sporty too. This is my opinion. You of course may have another opinion. Perhaps you could in future speak out your opinion without personal attack.
I agree with you, Charlene is a role model with her social engagements, especially in sports events, which I pointed out in my all in all very friendly comment. But I would not say that other Crownprincesses fall behind Charlene in their engagements. They all work a lot and have different priorities. By the way, who of the CPs has disappeared for a year? I don't know one.
A lot of things humor Beth! Thank goodness we all have different opinions- makes for great commentary amongst us all! As for her hair-of course she is going to be on trend...she loves fashion like the rest of us. Sorry @Beth for talking about you on a fashion blog. We will take you and your opinions just as you are!
DeleteBeth I think your hair looks fabulous!!
DeleteThanks Chelsea, this is kind of you. I love my pixie cut, this is why I love Charlenes short hair too ;-))and I am very happy with this cut and color, after having had shoulder long hair for most of my life. There is absolutely no need to get this personal on a blog like this.
DeleteWe all come to this blog because we like fashion and have fun to discuss the fashion choices of the royal ladies. Kudos to Hellen Electra who provides us every day with fantastic photos!!
I am somebody who is quite straight forward with her comments. When somebody looks great in my eyes, I call it great, when somebody looks stupid in my eyes I call it supid. But usually I have some good arguments why I think so. Some people cannot deal with this, because they take any criticism personally, especially when it is against one of their favourites. I personally critisize never the person, only their fashion choices or their appearance. Sometimes it is a thumbs up, sometimes thumbs down. That's all.
Bravo Beth! And I only have one pic to judge but you are a beauty!
DeleteWe are here to write our comments ,whether there are good ones or bad ones but only about royals NOT about people who are making comments on this blog!
DeleteIt shouldn't be hard to understand that.
My above comment was to person by the name Anna-Marie Punt.
DeleteOther royal ladies have fans, Charlene has got Taliban. Poor woman.
DeleteWow, Romana, I hope that you are not serious with this comparison. Do you really think that Charlene is treated badly and unfair on this blog? I can't see that, she gets most of the time highly positive comments on her looks and fashion choices and her unique style.
DeleteThere were some critical remarks like 'duck face' lately on her beauty treatments, which I also think did not do her any good. But this is not being rude against the person. She gets always praised for her social engagements and how well she fulfills her role.
Beth, I meant that Charlene's fans are scarily fanatic at the most moderate critical remarks concerning their goddess. Just the other way round as you thought.
DeleteOkay, Romana, I understand. Thanks! :-))))
DeleteThe water bike challenge sounds like fun. I bet it is not so easy to do. It looks like Charlene is not only going to host the event but enter the event herself. Good on her.
ReplyDeletewou wou, wat ziet ze er sportief uit ,alles staat haar !!ik blijf zeggen dat
ReplyDeleteprins albert een hele goede smaak heeft ,het is een heel leuk stel!!!!
Beautiful amazing Charlene, now how many royal ladies are ready to get dirty and still look fabulous onllycharlene!!
ReplyDeleteActually it's not only Charlene, Mette-Marit and Catherine often take part in sport events, Sophie took recently part in a cross country bicycle race where she exercised months before to get fit for the challenge, you can see Maxima and her daughters and even Princess Beatrix once a year in welllington boots and rubber gloves cleaning up the environment from wasted dreck.
DeleteCharlene is a star!!
