Countess Sophie of Wessex visit to Lilongwe, Malawi 1st Day

Sophie Countess of Wessex, Vice Patron of The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, visits Malawi to see the work being done to end avoidable blindness and champion youth leadership. On the first day of her visit, the Countess of Wessex attended a reception at the British High Commission on March 13, 2017 in Lilongwe, Malawi.

On March 13, 2017, Sophie Countess of Wessex arrived at Lilongwe airport in Malawi in the early afternoon, where she was greeted by Holly Tett - High Commissioner to Malawi.

  3. No the pink dress does not suit her at all. I am the same type as Sophie (hair colour, skin, posture) and this kind of dresses do no suit me either.

  5. That's a lot of pink! I guess she was going for the "English rose" look but it's not a great success. I like the Erdem. It suits her.

  6. Pink dress resembles queen maxima dress. She has one in shiny blue colour. Sophie is warm and excited. It's all very natural.

  7. Both dresses are so wrong. The flower dress with a cardigan and a shopping bag would be okay for a family visit but not for an official visit of a foreign state. The pink Valentino dress witha sixties approach would be okay for a young woman in her early twenties as seen on the model. But certainly not for a woman in her fifties. Who sold it to her?
