Crown Princess Mary opens 'The Jewellery Box' exhibition

On February 7, 2017, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark opened the exhibition "The Jewellery Box" at the Old Town Museum (Den Gamle By) in Aarhus. The Jewellery Box - Danish Jewellery of the Twentieth Century is an exhibition with about 1000 danish jewelries of silver and some of gold from 1900-2000.

      Yes, the colour! The purple wasn't so visible on my mini ipad but I can see it clearly on a bigger screen. Lovely.
      [But I also liked it when I thought the hat and shoes were black, lol.]

    I like this. But I think slightly darker (not opaque) tights would have been better. Her legs look too naked for this wintery outfit.

      And it is so cold here in the North of Europe. She should have worn some nice boots.

    I LOVE this! I can be bribed with a pillbox hat under any circumstances, but this is just exceptional. The gray and purple together, that amazing Prada suit, the smile.... absolute perfection.

    The suit she is wearing is superb in color, material and cut. Fit is as ever always great with Mary.
    However bare legs, maybe not the best choice and also no coat...
    Personally, I prefer a more substantial hat, collar is great though, and hair always!
    The retro look does look great on her, but other hand the look ages her every time...
    Fred is probably one of the least working next in line royals in the world. Seems mostly uninterested also when he is out and about... he should give the crown to Mary instead, she's much keener it seems!

    Wow, was für ein stilvoller Winterlook! Das Kostüm finde ich sehr gelungen. Die kurze leicht taillierte und einreihige Jacke mit dem glockigen Rock stehen der Kronprinzessin ausgesprochen gut. An ihr sieht der Rock sehr viel edler aus als am Model, weil er die perfekte Länge hat. Die Accessoires im Pflaumenton sind gut gewählt und der schwarze Schal hält zusätzlich warm. Dies ist ein Kostüm, das vielen Frauen sehr gut stehen würde. Es muss ja nicht gleich von Muccia sein. Ein Look als Inspiration, das finde ich gut. Wenn ich die Fotos richtig interpretiere, hatte die KP viel Spaß. Es war sicherlich auch eine wunderbare Ausstellung. Wer schaut sich nicht gerne hochwertigen und schönen Schmuck an!
