Crown Princess Mary Celebrates Her 45th Birthday Today

Today is February 5 and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark celebrates her 45th Birthday! Crown Princess Mary was born on February 5, 1972 in Tasmania, Australia. She got married with Danish Prince Frederik on May 14, 2004 and the wedding festivities took place at Fredensborg Palace. The couple have four children, namely, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine. Happy Birthday to you, Crown Princess Mary.

    Happy birthday!
    It's always fun to see what she is wearing and she invariably looks polished. But that first photo is not one of my favourite "looks" (too much over-the-top jewellery, mismatched with the chain, and that cape and hairdo).

    45 Jahre, die sieht man ihr nun wirklich nicht an! Es wird ja viel spekuliert, ob sie 'etwas hat machen lassen'. Wenn ja, dann ist es sehr, sehr gut gemacht worden, denn man hat ihr die Augen- und Stirnfältchen gelassen. Sie wirkt auf mich sehr natürlich und ich glaube nicht, dass sie viel nachhilft. Sehr gut, denn eingefrorene Gesichter wie z.B. in Monaco finde ich abgrundtief hässlich! Zurück zu Mary: sie ist eine Stilikone und schafft es, den schmalen Grad zwischen den royalen Anforderungen, den Erwartungen der Untertaninnen und ihren eigenen Wünschen gekonnt zu meistern. Außerdem recycelt sie ihre Garderobe. Das gold- cremefarbene Abendkleid, welches sie schon mal beim Neujahrsempfang getragen hat, trug sie knapp 2 Monate später beim Besuch des belgischen Königspaares. Zu diesem Outfit kombiniert sie wunderbare Stücke aus der Rubin-Parure von Königin Friederike. Happy Birthday Königliche Hoheit und ein wunderbares Jahr für Sie!
