On February 27, 2017, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince William, Duchess Catherine of Cambridge and other members of the Royal Family, host a reception to mark the launch of the UK-India Year of Culture 2017. Duchess Catherine wore new Erdem silver dress . We saw the same dress on Crown Princess Mette Marit during her visit to Canadian Museum of History in Gatinueau on November 7th, 2016. |
A vibrant, sparkling and healthy look Duchess in a beautiful metallic pink silk dress. Shows her respect and goodwill wearing silk and earrings of the Indian Jeweler Anita Donge. Beautiful photo of the Duchess having her hand on Williams back. Dress to the T with the pair of sparkling shoes. Stunning!!
ReplyDeleteWhat picture shows her hand on his back. I do not see that here.
DeleteI do agree that she looks very nice.
couldn't agree more.
DeleteHer hand on William's back?? Do you mean 7th photo? I think Kate is few people back & it just give the impression that her hand is on William
ReplyDeleteThere is a photo of Kate with her hand on William's back while they look at one of the exhibits. I thought I had seen it here also, but it appears on the Daily Mail Gallery. Very lovely photo of a rare PDA moment.
DeleteIt is a cute photo. I think it's clear here also - photo #7.
DeleteOh yay she added it! How sweet!
DeleteCatherine looks radiant and lovely here. The dress suits her well and her shoes are fabulous! Earrings are also perfect.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a beauty she is!
ReplyDeleteYes and I love when she doesn't carry a purse. It allows her beauty and attire the chance to shine!
DeleteYes, what a difference it makes when she holds a glass of wine in her hands instead the omnipresent clutch. Best photo in this series.
DeleteKate looks lovely. very elegant dress and hair and makeup too.
ReplyDeleteI like the colour of the queen's dress.
Totally agree. She looked absolutely stunning.
DeleteEven if her dress was a flattering color (which it is not - and Kate looks fabulous in many colors so why she goes back to this sickly pale yellow/cream again and again baffles me - it makes her look tired and sallow) and even if her dress was a flattering silhouette (which it is not - on her figure it hangs like a nightie, and does not convey the haute hippie look I assume she must imagine it does) she will never look good as long as she wears her hair to her waist in sausage curls with the sides twirled and pinned like a Sister Wife.
ReplyDeleteDarla, a speech right from my heart!
DeleteNot yellow or cream. It is metallic and pink.
DeleteLovely!
ReplyDeletePrincess Eugenie was there too!!! No photos🙁
ReplyDeletePrincess Eugenie was there too!!! Any photos please😊
ReplyDeleteLook on the Daily Mail. Eugenie looked like she was going to a funeral and hadn't bothered to comb her hair.
DeleteWhilst I think she looks wonderful and she is the only person so far whose very slender frame could carry well this type of dress I still don't like the dress itself, for the same reason I mentioned when MM wore it: the pencil pleated top part isn't really flattering on anyone. It's just too much pleats that make the wearer's bust appear heavier than it is in reality and to top of it all it places the heaviness towards the hips, making the wearer's breasts look like they are dangling there all the way down to her waist like two giant pears. It was an unpleasant sight when MM wore the same dress or when Angelina Jolie wore a long version of the same style. Kate managed to avoid it just because she is not an expressedly busty type (I hope I formulated it politely enough :)
ReplyDeleteHer hand on W's back is a rarely seen but very sweet moment indeed. I love it :)
This dress is beautiful and shoes are gorgeous but maybe this length isn't very suitable for Kate, she looks better in shorter skirts. Anyway she is star of this evening a real beauty.
