  1. What a difference between these two royal ladies on the same occasion! Mathilde is confident, smailling, well dressed (altough not her best apperance), Mette is unhappy and not motivated so no wonder that her clothes reflect exactly that.

    1. True and thoughtful words. Haakon's late aunt Ragnhild put it much more harshly when she said that he and his sister didn't marry commoners but sub-commoners. I know that MM has many worshippers here but I think her role is several sizes too big for her. Not because she's a born commoner but because of her personality. And now feel free to throw stones at me.

  2. Mette looks like a matron at a dormitory of students

  3. Mathilde does look good.
M-M looks like she was dragged there unwillingly and didn't bother to change into better clothes.

  4. The setting for the ladies is totally different. However, no one of that ranking Royal status should need to wear credentials around their neck. I would like to see Princess Mette-Marit standing to get a better look at her outfit. I like the two colors together.

    1. Black and White/ivory is ok. But she looks as if she'd pop the seams any second. Poorly fitting clothes again.

    2. It is very hard to look elegant in any outfit if it doesn't fit.

  5. I had NO IDEA Shakira was soo petite. She is a larger than life performer! And I like when the royals come out in force!
