ReplyDeleteHallelujah a side part for Princess Sofia!
ReplyDeleteShe does look better with the side part. Her gown clashes, tho, with the rest of them.
DeleteI agree. I don't like the dress. The Queen looked lovely as always. :)
DeleteB-O-R-I-N-G ladies gowns
ReplyDeleteI so disagree with you, Lizzie. The Royal Family looks lovely and proper. No outlandish-looking colors. Just simplicity. And I note that Princess Madeleine and Princess Sofia look terrific with their handsome husbands, but seem to defer in their attire to CP Victoria, to let her take more of the spotlight.
DeleteAll I can say is Princess Sofia looks stunning! Yay for a side part! She looks much more elegant! Well done!
ReplyDeleteAgree!
DeleteBest comment I've read. I totally agree!
DeleteI don't like any of the dresses with exception of the Queen! The Queen looked good in the navy blue lace dress. Very pretty. The rest of the ladies....meh.
ReplyDeleteVictoria didn't look good, the dress made her look bigger that she is.
Madeleine looked good but not great. She can do better for sure.
Sofia... Is she in a dress without sleeves? Isn't it cold? I mean, it's winter and it's in Sweden. A color of the dress was purple almost brown... not good.
Victoria's hair... I don't like it. Madeleine hair is nice. Sofia is bad. Again the Queen looked amazing and simple.
Props for the queen, elegant as usual. A good example for the young ladies :)
More pics here too even though here arent many :/ http://teamlifeshift.blogspot.pt/2016/12/swedish-royals-at-swedish-academy-2016.html
Same opinion here.
DeleteThe Queen is a classic woman. Very rarely makes fashion "mistakes" :)
DeleteToda a família real sueca está de parabéns! Bonita família e com uns looks espectaculares :)
ReplyDeleteThe queen looks great and the colour suits her.
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought everyone else was in black but I see the Sofia is wearing a sort of purple/brown. Meh. But her hair looks good.
Victoria's dress is oddly t-shirt on the top with a disney princess skirt[if you discount the black colour]. What is that? And because of where they are sitting everyone there mostly sees them above the waist only, which makes Victoria's plain top more noticeable.
Madeleine has the sparkly part on top which is an improvement.
Sofia´s hair is indeed much nicer this way. I also like the colour of her dress which looks like aubergine on my screen, a very winter-y colour but still warm. I would have liked to see sleeves on her dress, and it is obviously too long, but nice simple style.
ReplyDeleteVictoria´s dress looks a bit H&M I must say. Her very classy hairdo is almost too strict for this frilly gown with t-shirt-like top.
Madeleine - I don´t like her in black, and even less so in black lace. She looks so gothic then, which is not flattering. Also, she looks rather busty.
Silvia - ok, since she´s the queen. She stands out since she´s the only one to bring some colour, and the only one sparkling. She sure likes to shine.
love love love everybody looked stunning.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looked stunning. A pity the crown princess don't take after her mother with outfits or has the style of her mother. Princess Madeleine and her very handsome and sexy husband looked stunning. Don't forget Princess Sofia and her gorgeous prince!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Crown Princess hair has grown overnight!! What an enormous bun or is it hair extensions!!??? Just note no one made a comment on the extensions or is that type of criticism only meant for certain royal ladies.
ReplyDeleteIt sure is just her own hair after hair dressing. She has lots of long hair to make beautiful up-does to galas although she keeps low profile non special days.
DeleteLots of fake hair is used in creating these big updos. It´s worked into her own hair very skillfully, but it´s not extensions.
DeleteCP Victoria has beautiful long hair, but to create a big bun like this, a false hair piece is needed, it is not extensions. It does not look good and the H&M dress looks cheap and does not a good look at all.
DeleteI have much thinner long hair than Victoria has and still my hairdresser can make very big and ambitious buns without any extra pieces. Just curling, beehiving after beehiving, using right styling products and hairspray. So there can be extras but there does not need to be.
DeleteEveryone of them look good and happy. The queen looks much better than in Nobels.
ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia, Princess Madeleine and Princess Sofia's looked all so beautiful and elegant. Sofia's side part looked indeed lovely. And Madeleine's hairdo was so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry but Crown Princess Victoria's dress did not suit the event -- that frilly skirt ruined otherwise okay-ish look. She looked like she was attending some fancy dress ball and not formal gathering.
I think Sofia outshines them all, she looks beautiful. I like how she and Carl are holding hands. I don't care for Victoria's dress and her tight bun, and Madeleine doesn't look too good , I agree with Vanessa.
