King Willem Alexander, Queen Maxima, Princess Beatrix, Princess Mabel, Princess Laurentien and Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands attend the 2016 Prince Claus Awards ceremony at the Royal Palace on December 15, 2016 in Amsterdam. Winner of the Great Prince Claus Prize is filmmaker and artist Apichatpong Weerasethakul from Thailand. (Every year, the Prince Claus Awards is held at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam in December. The awards honour individuals or organisations for achievements within the cultural or development field). |
Blote armen voor Máxima in deze tijd van het jaar en een zwarte panty .... geen goede keuze.
ReplyDeleteVerder straalt ze zoals altijd!
Is this hot in the Netherlands?
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought it is old photo from summer time.
DeleteI translated this in case it was saying what I was thinking. It does! Why wear a sleeveless dress with black tights?
ReplyDeleteMaxima's hair looks very nice at this event [extensions are back?].
King surrounded by jewels! Great photo n gathing.
ReplyDeleteSleeveless dress and dark black tights? weird combination. Mabel looks good, glad to see her smile. And by the way, her natural hair looks much better than the extensions of Maxima. She tries too hard and the result is nothing but a bland Hollywood look.
ReplyDeleteThere's a heat wave in Holland!
ReplyDeleteI don't get the summery dresses either. A sleeveless piece, lightweight kaftans, apparently from linen or thin silk maybe - then Máxima puts on a cardigan inside.
ReplyDeleteThe only lady dressed weather appropiately here is Princess Beatrix.
Yes, I stumbled also over the summery kaftans of the other ladies. I don't get the whole thing.
DeleteBlack tights and a summer short sleeve dress. My opinion this Queen is loosing it. She is just too much. She is ridiculous
ReplyDeleteQueen Maxima reasured us of Global Warming!
ReplyDeleteLol. This isn't the first time she has worn thin clothes outside without a coat or jacket this winter. Strange.
DeletePre-menopausal heatwave, maybe :-))
DeleteBeth, your comment was unnecessary. But I agree with the others that a sleeveless dress in December was a poor choice, especially being outdoors without a proper wrap is not wise. It looks quite strange.
DeleteHa ha ha, Beth, I find your comment great!
DeleteIf you ask me, they all are in very strange outfits (except maybe Beatrix), like they were on the summer holidays.
