Charlotte Casiraghi attended Vanity Fair France Dinner held at the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild in Paris, France. Charlotte Casiraghi wore Gucci Ruffled Floral-Print Silk Crepe Dress from Gucci Resort 2017 Collection.
That just looks silly. Totally the fashion victim. I wonder if she actually likes this or just fulfills her duty as a well-paid model (aka Gucci-face). And I wonder why she went for this dress (which is bad in itself but so comically out-of-place at a dinner). There surely must have been something in the Gucci collection better suited for the occasion. This purple creation would be a great choice for a 70s-themed bad taste hippie party held in the jungle.
Ha ha love your reply, you made me laugh right out loud. Not a fan of Charlotte: spoiled and arrogant and headstrong. She's only where she is because of an accident of birth....
Headstrong is bad. Don't confuse it with having goals and being determined to reach them. Headstrong means you obey your impulses without any thought for the consequences or hurt caused to yourself and others. Her headstrong tendencies are why she's raising a child on her own and why she does not have the greatest reputation. She doesn't think of anybody else--only about what SHE wants at the moment. She's 30, for goodness' sake, not 12. And no, we aren't all where we are b/c of birth: many people work hard, have ideas and talent and are real achievers. It's not handed to them b/c of who their parents are or their social position. She's a lightweight and nothing but.
Call me 'crazy' but I like it, and it's very rare that I like Gucci :-))) I agree with you, Kristina, make up and hair looks good. But the bottom part looks somehow weird. Other than on the model, is there a black ribbon on the seam? Not good! I would have liked the dress shorter with skin tight leather pants and some tower high ankle boots......but with Charlottes legs.. it is actually not easy to find the right pants and shoes. Unfortunately!
I wonder if there's something wrong with her left hand, especially in the first and fourth picture. I don't like that black tie or the dress, too busy.
That's her style, a litlle weird and unusual, so I think she choosed out that dress not by coincidence. She obviously doesn't want to wear standard polished gowns, like an form of revel.
The pattern on Charlotte's dress is much too busy despite the pretty purple of the background color.

DeleteHeadstrong is not always a bad thing.
DeleteAren't we all where we are because of our birth ?

DeleteThere must be someone at Gucci who hates beautiful women.
ReplyDeleteLOL, Coralie! True, I think.
DeleteDroles de fringues - on la prendrait pour sa belle-soeur Tatiana
ReplyDeleteThe dress is "crazy" design but with black boots and her make up and hairdo and most of all considering her age somehow it doesn't look bad.

DeleteTrue how it looks on her with the accessories, but it still is hideous
DeleteSon visage rachète tout.
ReplyDeleteSon magnifique visage rachète tout.
ReplyDeleteGood thing they are paying her to wear that...ensemble.

ReplyDeleteThe hand looks weird indeed
DeleteShe nerver looks 'polished' but rather shabby

ReplyDeleteOù est passé la classe italienne de Gucci !!!
ReplyDeleteComment peut-on penser qu'on mettre des horreurs pareilles !!!
I dont understand what is happening, she used to be stylish and elegant; the dress partern looks messy.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it is her but rather fashion got uglier. So it is rather designers fault that so many people are looking awful in their clothes.
DeleteNo style at all. maybe that is very high fashion.
ReplyDeleteOh mein Gott, wie häßlich - dieses Outfit ist eine Katastrophe
ReplyDeleteOMG, my eyes, my eyes....
