Don't like what she is wearing but I always liked her face and her hairdo.
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits look good and youthful on her. Did the Red Cross Ball have a theme or why are some of the ladies wearing dresses in the twenties style?
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a twenties themed ball. And for that her dress is a stunningly well designed, very period appropriate piece.
DeleteAs for the second outfit, take away the shawl and it's perfectly lovely.
She seems to be a very warm person, no chi-chis. Not very easy to dress, given her size, but nothing wrong with what she's wearing.
ReplyDeleteLizzie, I absolutely agree. She seems to be a caring person. Look at her smile!
DeleteShe is indeed a warm person who volunteered for charities even before her engagement to Henri.
DeleteI like both outfits and also the scarf with the dark purple pant suit. It matches in colours, lightens up the dark outfit a bit and stretches her silhouette vertically.
Most of the times Maria Tereza is smiling and her face has the warmth that all people of her native country have. She doesn't have the cold face of Charlene for example, although Maria Tereza doesn't have the youth and the beautiful body of Charlene. That's why I like the Grand Duchess!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Grand Duchess looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI like the outfits in the '20's night!' However, sad to see MT in a moo moo style dress.
