Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge visits The Nelson Trust Women's Centre in Gloucestershire, as part of her ongoing work on addiction and mental health on November 4, 2016 in Gloucester, England. The Duchess wore Mulberry Paddington Coat and Dolce & Gabbana boucle wool blend skirt. |
She is showing up for a worthy cause and I applaud that. But please, please, Catherine, enough with the hair. The twitching and flipping is an annoying distraction. Pull it back--you don't need flying hair to appeal--your pretty face is enough!
ReplyDeleteI love the entire outfit! I loved iy when she wore it before. That is one of my go to combos for work very often in Fall and Winter.
ReplyDeleteThe color of the coat is gorgeous.
Agree, Diane. Sorry, the hair is a peeve of mine and I never got to the outfit! Good look and especially like the soft blue color of the coat on Catherine.
DeleteStunning and stylish from head to toe!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice outfit!
ReplyDeleteShe should tie her hair.
ReplyDeleteI like all those pieces but I don't like the jersey tucked into the skirt. I won't talk about skirt lenght here because the truth is, she has a pair of legs to die for and if I had those legs I too would certainly show them in miniskirts at more relaxed events like this. But the jersey is just too big for her. You can see it creases a lot where it's tucked into the skirt. That wouldn't happen would the jersey follow her shape. But this one doesn't.
ReplyDeleteShe looks tired, poor soul...
Agree ZL, jersey , sweater never looks elegant tucked into skirt.
DeleteWill she fall over if she removes her hands from her abdomen? She also has to learn to not flick her hair all the time. On the first photo she looks old.
ReplyDeleteLovely ensamble, i adore this coat, besides this she looks tired of perhaps is her eyes make up, what you think girls?
ReplyDeleteI think it is her wrong eyes make up. That what makes her look tired and not fresh.
DeleteI think it is both.
DeleteI actually think she is just tired. She spent the night before at a movie premiere. It was an evening event so I gather the screening itself did not end until 10 pm, more or less, then I suppose she had to talk to a pair of the folks who also attended the premiere then she went home, then all the process of taking off clothes, shower, removing makeup, preparing yourself for next day's event - I don't think she laid down to sleep before 12. Then she had to wake up early to make her hair, put on makeup, dress, and I don't think she feeds on the sunlight so I guess she had something for breakfast. I think it's that simple, if you go to bed late and wake up early you just look tired, whatever you put on your face.
DeleteI thinkj it is black color near her face, black is not any good for her. It makes deep shadows to her face and takes her own color off.
DeleteLovely coat, but dreadful outfit. Hair is horrid as is unfortunately normal, and for a young woman she is aging badly.
ReplyDeleteShe looks tired and yes, she is aging badly. The jet-black eye make-up looks very hard. Hair up would look more polished. Also, she should be careful about the extensions, there is enough "extra" hair up there to cover two heads. Wearing lots of extensions for a long time will lead to hair loss. I do like the coat though.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you say that Catherine wears extensions? She can be one of these women wich have a dense mass of hair that's difficult to manage to give it a polished look. This inconvenience turns into an advantage later in life, because when the air grows thin with age they still keep a good head of hair. As for her aging badly, she should lighten her eye make-up and would look ten years younger.
ReplyDeleteFunny here we see those black tick tights again and no criticism ;) LOL

DeleteThat is just priviledge Mette Marit gets when living in much colder country.
DeleteBecause all her outfit looks good with black tights.
