The official Canada visit of Crown Prince Haakon of Norway and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway started. In connection with that official visit, Prince Haakon and Princess Mette-Marit met with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada and his wife Sophie Gregorie Trudeau at L'Oree du Bois restaurant in Chelsea county of Ottawa on Sunday night. Today, Crown Couple of Norway will meet with General Governor David Johnston of Canada and Mrs. Sharon Johnston. |
Welcome to my country. Two beautiful and intelligent couples!
ReplyDeleteMette Marit...olala...speechless. Please help her....
ReplyDeleteShe looks dowdier and dowdier
DeleteQu'est-ce que c'est ce truc ? Mette Marit a beaucoup de réserves horribles .
ReplyDeleteOk, I'm honestly not trying to be mean or judgmental but does MM not realize how bad she looks? Her style has gotten horrible, I really don't understand because she did not used to dress like that. Yes, I know everyone has their own style and wears what they like and is comfortable, but that doesn't mean you have to come out looking like a bad mix of little house on the prairie and a frumpy grandma. There's a line between wearing what you like and just plain unstylish and horribly frumpy. MM has crossed that line. She needs to hire a stylist asap.
ReplyDeleteSuddenly Stephanie has pulled ahead of MM. I just do NOT understand what the heck is going on with her. What is that top? It looks like 300 lace doilies - and very nicely tatted doilies either 😐😕😣👀👀😣😝😝😝😤😤😲😲😲😮😮😮😔😔😱😨
ReplyDeleteThese are the kind of things that make me stop watching a person. It is beyond bad. It is boring now. Very tacky. Stygg. Veldig STYGG.Det er en stygg.
Oh MM hvorfor?
And NOT very nice dolies... forgot the NOT above
DeleteOh, dear. Very unfortunate for MM. Sophie Trudeau is beautiful--and so is MM. But MM did not choose well this time.
ReplyDeleteThat blouse is just horrible.
ReplyDeleteI find the Canadian PM and his wife far more elegant and stylish than the Norwegian CP couple.
ReplyDeleteMette-Marit looks dowdy with the busy and unflattering blouse.
Haakon is wearing a formal double breasted jacket yet he has an open collar blue shirt?!
Please don't tell me M-M is rubbing off on him.
In contrast, the Canadian couple are simply and elegantly dressed! Sophie Trudeau is just beaming in these pics!
I had to check the newmyroyals archive but it was worth the pain 'cause now I'm sure I don't have false memories: I have photographical proof that MM CAN do better. A lot better.
ReplyDeleteI actually think she looks lovely despite that UGLY top. But just because of her kind smile.
I hated Kate's Self Portrait dress at that premiere a couple of days ago and I hate this top for the same reason: looks a cheap, badly designed piece. Something you'd order from Aliexpress (no offense to Aliexpress, I actually did buy useful, satisfyingly quality stuff there).
I just checked asos and there are 49 styles from self portrait listed. I swear I wouldn't look at 45 of those, they are all incoherent, way too busy designs. Ridiculously overpriced. The rest, 4 pieces, might be wearable ones but who knows, it might just be an optical illusion.
MM deserves better. Actually, everyone deserves better.
this felt like..unstaged..and unceremonied..its like a warm feeling on the dinner
ReplyDeleteI would not have believed that a beige roll neck pullover could look so chic. Ms. Trudeau is proof positive that all you need is class. Of course, being beautiful and radiant also helps. As to Mette-Marit, let's draw a veil over that top and hope for better choices in the future.
ReplyDeleteCertainly not a piece that would catch my attention if I saw it in a shop. I don´t mind the black-and-white floral design, but I do mind the white frilly line that runs along the sleeves. And a pattern that busy really needs to be worn by a very slim person. Mette-Marit isn´t big but she doesn´t have the right body build to look good in it. In fact, she looks bigger than she is. Her hair is atrocious as always.
