Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Sophie, Countess of Wessex and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex attend a Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate 60 years of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award at Westminster Abbey on November 24, 2016 in London, England. Countess Sophie wore Bruce Oldfield jacket & Dress |
When I first saw the profile of Sophie's hat, I thought it was antlers! She looks lovely. And the Queen looks beautiful in purple. Her Majesty and Prince Philip are amazing - so lucky to be so mobile at their ages.
ReplyDeleteSo did I!
DeleteI like Sophie very much but often not her hats. But this one is a real hit for me, it suits her really well.
DeleteMe too - I was saying to myself: good grief, Sophie has antlers
ReplyDeleteI have noticed lately in photos that the queen seems to be stooped a little, I am thinking osteoarthritis in the back possibly. Just so there are no barbs thrown at me I should divulge that I am a medical professional but am not making a diagnosis, just an observation.
ReplyDeleteSophie´hat is very nice, but The Queen have too much flowers on hers.

ReplyDeleteI recall reading a couple me of articles that HM does have some issues with her back similar to what you note. For 90 years old, HM keeps an amazing pace in spite of this. Huge Kudos to her!
ReplyDeleteThe Service is quite important to mention, too. Queen has gradually stooped, but has had (sorry for pun) the world on her shoulders for yrs!
ReplyDeleteThis color of blue on Sophie suits her very well! Beautiful!
