Britain Royals welcome President Santos of Colombia

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall attended the official welcome ceremony for the Colombian state visit at Horse Guards Parade on November 1, 2016 in London, England. Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos, who won this year's Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to implement a peace deal with FARC rebels, begins a state visit to Britain that includes a trip to once conflict-ridden Northern Ireland.

  3. It would have been good for the Cambridges to get involved.
    IMO, due to Charles' age William and Kate need to be prepared to for such duties. No one knows how long the reign of QEII will last. A longer reign by QEII means a shorter reign for Charles which means William coming to the throne sooner than later. He needs to be prepared!

    1. The Cambridges attended the last two dinners. They take turns. I am sure William is prepared. He has been preparing since birth. William reads the 'red box' with Charles. He has been part of it all for 2 yrs now.
