On November 3, 2016, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of The Netherlands visited Cockatoo Island in Sydney, Austalia. They also attend the Food Bytes Award ceremony and see three displays of innovative concepts of farm-to-fork and visit at Smart Cities and UNESCO World PEM Holland Hub. Dutch Royal couple attend meeting with Governor Hurley of the New South Wales Australian. |
What happened with Maxima's taste in clothes on tour in Australia ?
ReplyDeleteShe is a Natan victim ;-)))
DeleteShe has to wear their latest collection whether it suits her or not. Lookin at the striped collection with the models I find it not so bad, but it is designed for another body type. The voluptuous skirts may work with small tops on a flat chested model (could be a good style on Charlotte ;-)) but not an a tall woman with broader shoulders like Maxima. It makes her look gigantic. I feel sorry fot the lady standing next to her (Mrs. Hurley?) who is quite small and totally disappears in the pictures with Maxima. I think is is not a good choice to overshine your host on a state visit like this (Michelle Obama effect?)and a good stylist should have forseen this and thought about it.
Edouard Vermeulen's couture is very original and some pieces are quite beautiful.
DeleteMaxima can still choose what suits her the best, to her figure.
It is truly unbelievable what she is wearing not only on this photos but previous photos also.Everything is somehow too big , too long , wrong colors and styles, the gloves in warm climate...
ReplyDeleteLove the colours! Way to go Natan. Gorgeous Autumnal colours which work well in Aussi sunshine/Spring. Q. Maxima is brave in fashion, when few dare to wear gloves (outside of warmth for winter), and she sets the tone for fashionable sunglasses as well ( has done for many seasons now).
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree, Terri! And I love the orange Opera House!
DeleteI believe she is very smart. The sun lets hands turn old and wrinkeld fast, and she is protecting them with gloves. Think twice, ladies.
ReplyDeleteMy first comment here. I think she has daring and great style. She is my favorite royal dresser because she's not boring. Her shoes looks too tight though
ReplyDeletei like Maxima with the skirt, but that is because she is skinny en that skirt suits her.
ReplyDeleteJ'ai eu mal aux pieds pour Maxima pendant tout le voyage .Pas facile de voyager en escarpins .
ReplyDeleteIs that a shrip around her neck?
ReplyDeleteIt's a mutant lobster from outer space. For some unfathomable reason Queen Máxima seems to like it and she has worn it quite a number of times. Perhaps mutant lobsters make affectionate pets.
DeleteI love the orange Opera House !
ReplyDeleteThat is all I have to say.
Not liking this outfit at all, that necklace is weird. The color of the top is blah and the skirt way too voluminous. Thumbs down.
ReplyDeleteThumbs down. Skirt too voluminous, top color is blah, and that "necklace"!
ReplyDeleteniets voor maxima,de rok is veel te lang en te wijt !!!!!
