Queen Elizabeth and Duchess Catherine at Balmoral Estate
Queen Elizabeth and Duchess Catherine were seen driving to a picnic lunch. The family, Queen Elizabeth, Duchess Catherine and Prince William were coming together for a picnic lunch in the hills above Loch Muick on the estate, and the Duchess, who is known as the Countess of Strathearn in Scotland, was seen smiling and relaxed in the front passenger seat of the Range Rover.
Just wondering who was able to take these photos?
ReplyDeleteLong lens camera can get many shots this close. The Mirror, the DM and The Telegraph all have shots.
DeleteCarole Middleton was also there and went to church with all of them today. She is there as a guest of the Queen and there are shots of the Queen driving Carole around with them talking and the Queen pointing out places. This should stop the continual tongue wagging about some rift. The tabloids just cannot handle a "happy family".
Yes, I guess the beauty spot may be surrounded by public land and photogs could set up there. I remember the photos of Catherine sunbathing topless in France were taken from almost a mile away or some incredible distance. Dreadful to feel watched like that, even with the compensations of a well-heeled life.
DeleteRight Pine? Imagine always having to libe with the fact that somewhere 'out there' someone is always watching. I would find that so difficult..it is a fishbowl.
DeleteWhat a remarkable lady is the Queen. Still driving at her age. Well done to the Queen of England. Thank you Diane for your objective comments on this blog.
ReplyDeleteCool photos! Driving in her nineties love this!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing these photos of the family outside of their scheduled engagements, although of course I understand their need for privacy. It's just nice to see them interacting naturally 'away' from the cameras.
