  1. She looks really well in second photo.

  2. She should let her hair frame her face instead of pulling it back

  3. You are right Lizzie.
She doesn't have classical facial features to have all hair tied back.

  4. This is a lovely dress and suits her but I can't help thinking on the contrast between how much an Oscar de la Renta piece could have cost and that it was worn to this event focusing on refugees' nutrition challenges. Also, it leaves me with a bitter taste in the mouth: Sweden advocating the refugees' rights and speaking up for their wellbeing AND simulteneously trying to push the refugees back - they just initiated a proceeding, together with other rich countries of Scandinavia, against a certain much poorer country in Europe, to force it to take back the vast majority of refugees they so welcomed in their countries just a few weeks ago. This is madness and hypocrisy and no matter how much I like Victoria, it really makes hard to focus on how good the future head of state of Sweden looks.

    2. After some consideration I admit I was bordering the 'this is not the topic of this blog' territory. I'm sorry if I offended you with it. These were however my first feelings after seeing the pictures and they haven't really changed. I don't really sense they reflect political views, I guess it's more of a moral thing. You are right, politics doesn't belong here and probably moral thoughts doesn't either, so in the future I'll try not to post anything like that.

  5. Photo's lately of the Crown Princess her facial skin seems funny. Maybe due to her pregnancy. Freckles or dark spots?

  6. ZL - how do you know what she paid for the dress?

    1. It was made public by the swedish court Victoria doesn't accept "fashion freebies". Therefore she had to pay for it. And come on, Oscar de la Renta? I guess all of us who comment on this FASHION blog know it's a luxury brand. But if you don't google helps you find the price, and if it doesn't, the cheapest dress on the Oscar de la Renta page is £806. That's probably around what she paid for the dress. AT least.
