    1. Seulement elle et Victoria - je trouve que les coiffures de Madeleine sont tres bien.
Franchement, Sofia me fait penser a Wallis Simpson, ex duchesse de Windsor, epouse de Edward VIII, qui a abdique le throne pour Wallis.

    2. Whatever you think about Sofia, she looks always like a young woman while Ms Simpson looked at her own wedding with the not-so-bright Edward like a man in drag.

    3. True that - I was talking about heir style here. Wallis was 'old' already for that time, and yes, Edward (Prince David) wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer.

  2. I love the dress. And it really look good on Princess Sofia.
I like her hair; I'm I the only one?

  3. I think she looks very good, I hope she doesn't get used to this hairdo because she looks younger with the loose hair, but once in a while it's OK. Not always like Victoria.

  4. I like the dress and hair, make-up is little to harsh.

  5. This is an absolute improvement. It's appropiate, the colours are good for her, the cut, fit and lenght perfect. All in all, a pretty appearance for her. I sense a pair of tan heels would have been great (a bit better than the black ones) and I guess she has this gut feeling too, hence the tan belt (instead of the good looking but a bit generic black one). I still don't like the harsh hair colour and style, I really don't get why she pulls it down so tight (I don't like it on Victoria either). And whatever is happening to her eyebrows it must stop! :)

    1. Agree about her eyebrows. Her color "too harsh"???? IT'S HER NATURAL COLOR. As for the make up and other comments--post a picture of yourself so we can all have a go at it.

    2. Dear disneydip!
It's not her natural hair colour. She started to dye it at a relatively young age.
Here are some pictures which show her with a light brown hair (it seems blond but that is just some additional lightness because of the perm). Please note some or all of these pictures can be disturbing:

Her hair varies between dyed dark brown and raven black, occasionally with lighter highlights, in the past decade or a bit more.

    3. Oh, and as for your call to post pictures of ourselves please note more or less everyone here expresses their OPINIONS, to which we are entitled to, and we do it about the topic of this blog, that is about ROYAL LADIES' (sometimes gentlemen's) fashion! Not the commenters fashion or face or weight or hair! Is that so very hard to understand? Why don't we stop comparing royals=topic to commenters once and for all? If you don't agree with something why can't you just write you think otherwise and add your reasons? If I weigh 240 pounds and have my hair dyed to green and wear a pink bunny costume while commenting, would that make me ineligible to comment? Or would that make my comment anything less than an opinion? Or would that make the topic of the conversation any prettier?

You need to be a little more mindful, that nasty comments are unpleasant for others to read !

  7. Princess Sofia looks absolutely great and her warmth shines forth. A change of hairstyle from time to time when you must be in public eye so much is quite helpful. But your wardrobe and style should depend upon the event and the attendees you will be greeting and interacting with. She seems well suited for her role. But time will bear that out.
Just a friendly note to NEWMYROYALS: you should be doing a better job of editing the comments on this site and deleting the inappropriate, rude and insulting remarks. They have no place in polite society. And sadly, we have lost a lot of courtesies and and politeness to one another, especially in my country. Pity!

    1. I think the outfit was appropriate and I like that she is changing up her hair. My hope is for a sleek mom-bob and get rid of the caramel color she's growing out.

    2. Virginia - thank you fur suggesting there needs to be better comment moderation. Some of the remarks are petty, cruel and downright unnecessary. While we may not like a hairstyle or dress of pair of shoes nobody should be criticizing someone's face, figure, etc.
