ReplyDeleteThis Pippa girl really looks good and the whole outfit is very nice but... ehemm, she is no royal in any way. You know, not even the way the so called "illegitimate" children in the monegasque princely family are. I understand the reason she appears here is that she stands next to Eugenie, aka the beautiest face of the royal family (ok, I think she has a beautiful face). But then, she wears this unflattering poppy printed sack. A sack that is way too short. When will certain royal ladies finally get the Golden Rule of Hemlines, that is, no skirt or dress worn to a public engagement should end above the knee?
ReplyDeleteZL its actually Eugenie standing with Pippa. Pippa has been the President of the organization. It is Pippa who is front and centet and the York girls trying to make themselves relevant since their Daddy has become a twit and thinks his girls should be entitled to it all.
DeleteIn Pippa's defence, she didn't attach the photos into this section, she attended a party, attended by many others. She herself has raised quite a substantial amount of money for British Heart Foundation! She mixes with Beatrice and Eugenie and attends similar events to them! Her engagement was announced today ! So I'm guessing we'll be seeing a few Royals at the engagement party !

ReplyDeletePippa is the PRESIDENT of the Heart Foundation. She has every right to stand there or over there or here with anyone she likes. She is also the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge. But beyond that she is involved in many organizations.

I think I wasn't clear enough. Actually I absolutely don't mind if she appears on this blog or not, I was just reflecting on a recurring topic here, that this is a fashion blog reporting on royal ladies (and Hollywood actresses occasionally). Pippa might be President of this association and doing a great job but that doesn't make her either of those. That's it, no snobbery here :)

DeleteI meant in general like the first poster. Its not the first time that some have made comments about a post with a non royal.
Eugenie's dress is far too wide for its length (way too short!) and makes her look like a dumpling stuck on two ugly sticks. It is not even flattering on the model. Throw it out Eugenie, and please learn about flattering dress shapes and lengths. However, I think the latter is a lost cause where it concerns the York women...

ReplyDeleteAfter first pic I thought Eugenie had managed to get a nice dress, good color etc. But the lenght. Oh dear. That is just terrible. The worst possible lenght to her body really. Don´t these laadies have mirrows?
ReplyDeleteEugene has nice legs but i dont think this was the proper way to showingoff, to me the cut of this dress is wrong for her it doesnt help her at all, she looks slobby. on the other side pippa looked very nice and elegant, she is not royal but she sure can give a good lesson about elegance at the yorks
