Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge visit Land Rover BAR at the America's Cup World Series on July 24, 2016 in Portsmouth, England. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with members of the 1851 Trust charity.
Dear Catherine! Let's look at this as it was basic math, equations: Equation no1: windy weather=hair tie Equation no2: engagements with sport activities=flats+hair tie Equation no3: engagements in a sport field or in the nature=flats Easy, isn't it? :) Really, she is pretty and everything but isn't she tall enough? A pair of sneakers would look ridiculous with a coctail dress so why put on heels, even if it's just wedges, when wearing a sports t-shirt? It's not that she was meeting the Lakers or any other basketball team so I don't get it...
LOL! I'd like to add that wearing a huge cocktail ring (a.k.a. engagement ring) when sailing looks weird. Especially with the hand gestures she makes to show off her badge of honour. Yes dear, we the plebs know this was St. Diana's, but even Diana was not wearing the thing all the time.
Well, well, Shellsea, I can see what you say about the ring but the truth is, I have the same size and very similar design of engagement ring (just the center stone is a diamond as well) and I caught myself a million times doing those strange gestures with my hand. I think it's just that I try to protect it so that it doesn't foul into anything, my dress or hair or curtain or whatever. It's just not the same as a stoneless wedding band, I don't feel it 'blends' into my finger, I can't get accustomed to it even after 8 years. I can easily imagine the same happens to C. But I'd never ever wear it to sailing or swimming or any sports. It's not safe, not for the fingers nor the ring itself.
Well she is not exactly crewing so she is not sailing per se. She is watching ppl sail from a boat. In the past when she is steering or part of a crew the ring is gone.
Kind if rude Shellsea😨 I dont consider myself a plebe. I doubt that Kate thinks we are either. I do not take her hand gestures as saying 'look at my ring..look what I have". She is quite modest in her jewelry. There is nothing flashy about her. In fact most complain that she is not flashy enough. As to St Diana? Again that is really tacky given the fact that she is deceased.
Have a little class and grace dear when talking about the dead.
If the Duchess is not wearing her engagement ring then they are on the edge of a divorce will you comment be Shellsea. She looks great and dress to the occasion. Wait before you see the whole ZL before you start throwing stones at the Duchess.
Her hair seems slightly redish
ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't she ever attach her hair? Would be easier to manage and she wouldn't have to constantly push it off her face.
