Just lovely. Some woman are looking young, some are looking quite old with nearly 44. Her choice is a nice one. - But her look to that Lady in the 1st and in the last picture; what are her thoughts, I wonder...
The woman in black is Ms Uxue Barkos, President of the Government of the Comunidad Foral de Navarra. In the general election of last sunday, 26th June her party Geroa Bai obtained only 4.28% of the vote with a voters' turnout at 70.93%. As the royal pair's visit was carried out three days later it was not Letizia who gave Ms. Barkos the evil eye. By the way, it's quite childish to be frightened by the smile and the stare of a woman you don't even know. Too much Disney methinks.
She looks pretty, there is nothing wrong with this outfit but I agree with those who say it looks too little girlish. "Childish" were my exact thoughts at first sight. I don't see the evil look but it's surely strange that she stares at that woman like that. These are just two pictures however, a minuscule fraction of two seconds from a certainly longer engagement so it can just be an odd coincidence.
The Queen look very summary and fresh. Like this outfit
ReplyDeleteWhat's with the very, very small script? Can't reead it even with glasses
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteI must say QL often dresses to childish. This outfit doesnt fit an almost 44 years old woman.

Elle a mis les vêtements de ses filles
ReplyDeletePencil skirt would make her more taller than she is.
ReplyDeleteYes she has nice clothes but very boring to me.
I don't like this schoolgirl look on grown-up women.
ReplyDeleteShe looks like the Evil Queen in Disney, her stare & smile frighten me...let's hope she didn't cast a spell on the woman in black.

I like it better with the long sleeve shirt than with the little girl blouse. And yes, she is giving that woman the eye!
ReplyDeleteI find this a too childish look for a grown up woman. It doesn´t suit her personality at all.
ReplyDeleteShe reminds me of Lady Tremaine...

Beautifully coiffed. Lovely earrings and makeup as usual, but dreadful skirt and blouse.
ReplyDeleteJolie et printanière la belle reine Letizia. Toujours parfaitement habillée, coiffée et maquillée. Son cher et tendre a bien choisi.
