Princess Mette-Marit opens Petter Dass Festival 2016

Yesterday, Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway attended the opening of the Petter Dass Days 2016 in Alstadhaug on June 16, 2016. Crown Princess gave a speech during Thursday’s opening of the Petter Dass festival in Alstahaug. Petter Dass is a Lutheran priest and the foremost Norwegian poet of his generation, writing both baroque hymns and topographical poetry. Since 1983, Petter Dass has been honored with the traditional Petter Dass days at Alstahaug.

    Love the blue outfit on Mette-Marit, she looks good.

    Her hair is half blonde, half gray. Either color all of it or let it all go gray. With the right shade of gray and the right hairstyle, I'll bet she would be very striking and attractive.

    She could be an example for the older royal ladies (cough*Silvia*cough) who think that dark hair makes them look younger (it doesn't). I applaud Queen Elizabeth and Queen Margrethe for keeping their natural gray.

      You have to check both ears these earrings have not the same stones. Cool and special. Think I read somewhere that these were a gift from Haakon.
