Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg visited the new exhibition by Belgian artist Wim Delvoye at MUDAM museum on June 17, 2016 in Kirchberg, Luxembourg. Accompanying Grand Duke Jean was Hereditary Grand Duchess and MUDAM president Stéphanie, Secretary of State Guy Arendt and Enrico Lunghi the museum's director. Well we have another curtain dress. Someone help this person with some clothes made for someone her age? Why does she insist on dressing so old?
ReplyDeleteIt has no shape. It just looks like block of fabric. Even if you are perhaps a little overweight it's better to have some cinching
Right, it looks like a wallpaper or curtains from the 1950s. ;-)
DeleteAnd the hairstyle doesn't suit her either. She definitely needs some curls or fringes framing her face.
Oops hit wrong button
ReplyDelete....cinching at waist Aline cut or something.
She is not unattractive and yet it seems to tries to be plain vanilla ..... spice it up girl!!
What a warm and heart felt relationship they have, truly sweet.
ReplyDeleteI agree. She has such a sweet smile. Nice to see a kind comment.
DeleteI don´t see a sack nor a curtain. I actually think this is a lovely outfit. I like it, it´s elegant, interesting, fits her well, appropriate for the occasion and time of year, nice colour/design, good length, looks comfortable... What´s not to like?
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteShe looks like a very sweet woman. Too bad we can't get past criticizing and applaud people for the good and kind deeds they do. I think her dress and hair are very pretty. And she has a lovely smile. I would hate to have a photo of me on my very best day posted to be picked apart.
ReplyDeleteI understand but this is a fashion blog! I yearn for more from her in fashion but find nothing wanting as a princess!
DeleteIt's a boring dress, the material, the color, the texture. It makes her look older. Elegant? no.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is lovely and elegant. I do agree it needed a belt though. Unless she is pregnant the dress gives her a bit of a belly in that middle pictures.
ReplyDeleteStephanie comes across as a very sweet and earnest girl. I think the dress is quite nice, it photographs very well up close, but the detail of the fabric is lost at a distance.
ReplyDeletePhoto 2 is the best one of her.
ReplyDeleteNo, Stephanie - No. You're the Hereditary Grand Duchess. Time to bump it up a notch.
ReplyDeleteIs she pregnant?
ReplyDeleteIs Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie of Luxembourg expecting? can't wait to see their baby after all these years
ReplyDeleteI do not keep this dress itself so bad, but it is wrong length. Stephanie has good legs, but the dress would be much more becoming if it is two or three inces longer. She would look so much taller and slimmer and legs would pop up.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone think she's pregnant?
ReplyDeleteShe has been like this for about 2 years now.
DeleteShe needs a stylist
ReplyDeleteDefinitely!
DeleteI am sure she is a lovely person and my comments are not about her character. But as someone said above this is a fashion blog and she is so in need of a makeover. It's almost sad at times. She like a mouse among the rest. I wish Maxima would swoop down and find the Princess that is hiding inot Stephanie. Modesty and conservative ways is fine but she is sometimes dressed like she joined the convent and then left and still wants to be covered up.
We always say Maxima put that hair up!
Kate put that hair up!
But for Stephanie I want to say pull that hair down girl and
Let loose a little 😄🤗
She looks lovely with her hair up, her warm smile and graceful manner. Noblesse oblige in every way!
