Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Harry, Anne, Princess Royal, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, Lady Louise Windsor, James Viscount Severn, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Prince Andrew, Duke of York participates in the annual tradition of Trooping the Colour 2016, this year marking the Queen's 90th birthday at The Mall on June 11, 2016 in London, England. The ceremony is Queen Elizabeth II's annual birthday parade and dates back to the time of Charles II in the 17th Century when the Colours of a regiment were used as a rallying point in battle
If we look a side from Beas screaming hat it looks like they all look quite smashing the entire family from the birthday girl down to her grandkids. And then I take into consideration why QE have choosen screaming neon green 😎
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to see the five generations of the BRF at the Balcony.
DeleteFour generations.
DeleteCoco five? Isn´t there only four; Queen, Charles, William and kids?
DeleteYou're right, Blondiini, it is four generations. I miscounted.
DeleteLoved the fact that Anne, Charles and William were following in full uniform on horseback. Looked so great and moving too. And George an Charlotte was so cute on the balcony.
ReplyDeleteCharles, Anne and William are Royal Colonels that's why they came on horseback
DeleteA wonderful moving display of love and loyalty, Well done!
ReplyDeleteDuchess Catherine looks great. She has always the most beautiful hats of all royals.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks wonderful in the bright green outfit and Kate is absolutely stunning, what a smart, elegant outfit and beautifully styled hair.
ReplyDeleteFabulous!
ReplyDeleteI love the Trooping the Colour event. I love the traditional and historical significance. It is wonderful that Charles, William and Anne ride as the do every year. Sadly the Queen is not able these days. But the QUEEN omg I loved the bright green! It was wonderful and Spring like. She looked great! Those Cambridges... wow! Beautiful family! Catherine looked so elegant and so happy. The children are so precious. Charlotte's first event. George was precious. Lots of photos out there and one he appeared to be trying to climb up on the railing. The look on everyone's faces was a little terror. Haaa. Catherine seems to be more and more comfortable confident. William has guided her well. Lastly always good to see a huge turnout on the balcony. Lovely day!
Agree with you, Diane. They looked amazing. Love the Duchess hair the way it was done. Church service and with the Trooping of the Colour. The balance between the hat and hair was absolute stunning. Prince George and Princess Charlotte too cute for words. Love the little dress Princess Charlotte was wearing, socks and shoes. Once again keep to tradition dressing Prince George in his father's clothes - Prince William's for Prince Harry's Christening. Precious to keep outfits that like.
Deleteyes love their outfit princess charlotte she has been stressful up their
ReplyDeleteWow! Her Majesty looks radioactive in one the photos!
ReplyDeleteA certain little Princess is absolutely gorgeous!
Wonderful. My deepest respect goes to the Duke of Edinburgh. The uniform and the helmet must be a torture for a man of 95.
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat today ! All the Royal Family out in support ! HM took a bold move in green ! The DOC looked beautiful, especially on the photos taken, with her holding, Princess Charlotte ! The Philip Treacy hat looked gorgeous, with the Alexandra McQueen coat dress ! Sophie looked lovely as always, as did Lady Louise !
ReplyDeletePrincess Charlotte at the Balcony & waving, how cute!
ReplyDeleteGreat celebrations.
ReplyDeleteEveryone looked so elegant, lovely and happy.
I wish the best health and happiness to Prince Philip!
Princess Charlotte is a show stealer today :D
ReplyDeleteOMG that green outfit hurt my eyes, and so did the orange "hat", the rest all look well especially the 2 duchesses.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me want to puke
DeleteYou do know the reason why QE uses these bright colors? And considering she wanted to be seen by ten thousands of people on a long long distances it's understandable she have on a bright bright color. So everyone can say: We saw the Queen!
DeleteLumineuse Kate!
Delete...A striking similarity: the faces of little Charlotte and the Queen, her Great-Grandmother, as George is clearly his grandfathers Charles grandson. The former Saxe-Coburg and Gotha family from Germany on the balcony.
ReplyDeleteCatherine and Charlotte are the stars.- Beatrice and Eugenie, always amazing. Not my idea of beautiful hats. But well...
goodness me kate is just meh!! all that white, its washes her, she wears too much white and blue!! charlotte is not a good looking kid, i feel for her, the yorks girls no how to work it, they are young, sophie is sophisticated!!!
ReplyDeleteDon't bite your tongue .... you can poison yourself.
DeleteI vote we all ignore Nancy and not even reply to her meaness. Scroll on by the hate.
