OMG! This is so bad I'm out of words...
ReplyDeletetwo incredibly beautiful women, rania is amazing, charlotte is georgeous
ReplyDeleteBoth dresses are terrible.
ReplyDeleteWas this an event where the guests had to try to out do each other in who could wear the most hideous and horrid outfit?
ReplyDeleteI think Charlotte wins by the a slight margin, but it is a close call.
They both look ridicoulous...
ReplyDeleteThe only positive comment that can be made here, is both the wearers are quite beautiful ! Other than that .... !
ReplyDeleteThe Met Gala is always a little avant garde folks. Everyone looks crazy for the most part. This year's theme encouraged the crazy even more. Rani actually fits the theme. Charlotte does not at all.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte toujours très mauvaise pub pour Gucci

ReplyDeletePeople!! The Met Gala is meant for dressing very avant garde! It's what they do! No one wears the dress again! It's meant to be over the top!
ReplyDeleteIt's not about their normal style.
Relax it's for fun! Not everyday life and only for the gala.
And where is it written that avant-garde have to be ugly?
DeleteLouise. Google Met Gala. You are missing the point. It has a theme. It's usually a crazy wacky nutso over the top and thus the clothes are usually very odd and not particularly pretty clothes. It's supposed to be outside the box. Not ready to wear or royal like. Very few avant garde clothes are considered fabulous or beautiful.
DeleteFor one thing I never said they were ugly. I was commenting ton those that said they were ugly or nothing they would buy that it's kind of the whole theme around the gala. There have been a few that have garden themes that had some gorgeous clothes. Again off the charts but fab. This yr was blah and odd theme this blah clothes.
Oy
No I did! Looking at others at Met looking good and still are avant-garde proves my point. You don't have to look like a doormat like Charlotte to be avant-garde, it can be done tastefully like we see others do. And when we consider that Gucci and Valentino does not make costumes to only wear once, but this is dresses from an ordinary collection...Who on earth buys a dress to these prices if they think they are ugly and only wear once and the throw them away? So no..we have seen C in dresses like this before do obviously she thinks they look good...
ReplyDeleteDe la banale Charlotte on peut attendre quoi que ce soit, mais je suis déçue par la reine Rania. Je pense que sa place n'est pas dans ces événements frivoles. Et les vêtements sont mooooches.
