Duchess Catherine posed for British magazine Vogue which celebrates its 100th year. The photos were taken in front of Anmer Hall country house in the open air. She has featured on millions of front pages around the world but the Duchess of Cambridge is now a true cover girl – after posing for her first ever fashion shoot. The Duchess, 34, agreed to sit for British Vogue and a National Portrait Gallery exhibition marking the style mag’s centenary. |
In one shot she is leaning casually on a gate in a red and black striped Petit Bateau top. In others she is beaming in a vintage felt hat and Burberry jacket and shirt. The Duchess also wears the diamond and sapphire engagement ring that once belonged to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana, who appeared on the cover of Vogue three times. |
Stunning photographs of the Duchess especially the one where she is wearing the red and black strip top.
ReplyDeleteAnother great surprise.
ReplyDeleteI like how she agreed to let them do her makeup. Notice the NO eyeliner. But they really overdid her brows. Too thick.
But she is still beautiful!
Wow Diane what an eye you have! I would have never noticed the make up...you are right! She looks better with no eyeliner, more fresh but she looks so pretty in those pics
DeleteLovely, the brows are a bit much, but nonetheless beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteShame they had to over do the brows, I think it takes away from the photos ! DOC is a beautiful woman, a natural photo would have been just the job !
ReplyDeleteoh I love duchess
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs! A lighter hand with makeup is much more youthful. Although like others, I too wish Vogue had gone lighter on the brows too, but then more defined brows are "in fashion" at the moment.
