ReplyDeletePrince George is just adorable !
ReplyDeleteI just absolutely love George's cheeky grin! Talk about rising to the occasion x
ReplyDeleteGeorge is just too cute.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the problem with Geotge's clothes? Why they can not dress him normally??? William does'n wear shorts on any occasion.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stupid remark. George is a baby and William is an adult. I absolutely love George's clothes. I love children dressed like children

DeleteIt's an english tradition in the upper classes, deal with it!
DeleteI agree. George could has been styled more better (with shorts or without shorts). His shirt is too large, too.
DeleteI bet, he will not be amused about this picture in the future.
I have a child myself. A boy actualy. And he has a thing called PANTS. FYI it's not mandatory for children to wear shorts every time they go out :)
ReplyDeleteIn Britain even many schools have their uniforms for little boys with shorts only and they really wear those shorts year around. I was once in London at January and I felt the weather just freezing, but some school classes were still having shorts and pupils looked out all happy.
Delete"When in Rome, do as the Romans do."
Also young girls do not wear long skirts. It is easier to move without long hems, must be the same thinking with the length of the pants. In England they use socks for little children, same lenght for boys and girls.
DeleteIn my country girls wear thick thights if wearing skirt/dress what makes the dressing quite equal to long pants for boys.
Of course you are free to dress your child as best you like as is Kate. However, I disagree with you. Children are perfectly ok and well dressed in shorts. In fact, that's the way children were dressed until the fashion to dress them as adults came. You only have to see how Princess Diana used to dress William and Harry, for example. You are free to like it or not, of course, but you should not criticise something that is perfectly all right just because you don't like it
ReplyDeleteAnd you did compare George's clothes with William's. Hence my earlier comment
ReplyDeleteCompared to how other "Royal" children are dressed Prince George is dressed in an antiquated style, although it is quaint for photos.
ReplyDeleteIt is the English Royal House they have their traditions and what clothes young royals are wearing. Don't always compare with other Royal Houses. It is good the English Royal House stick to tradition. Prince George do have jeans etc. to wear when he is playing. It is great and delighted to see George is dressed in the same clothes worn by his father as toddler. Each Royal House has its own traditions, rules and protocol. Always comparisons
