ReplyDeleteWell, there is an excellent patisserie and chocolaterie just opposite the Grand Ducal Palace in Luxemburg City. ;-) If you have the chance to visit Luxemburg, you must go there, it's delicious.

DeleteShe really needs help. How hard can it be to find clothes that are appropriate for her age and flatter her? Beige lace? That is for old grandmothers. If her "job" is to represent the royal family and country, then maybe that family could take better care of her.

ReplyDeleteRegarding whether she is or should be pregnant, it is a very personal thing; we don't know the reason why she is not yet pregnant. It could be their choice or there could be other reasons.

ReplyDeleteJe n'ai malheureusement pas le choix d'être d'accord avec vous sur ce point. Cependant, ça n'enlève rien au fait qu'ils semblent tous les deux être des gens doux et sympathiques, pas hautains pour deux sous. Mais, rien n'empêcherait d'être, disons, un tout petit peu plus ''jeune'' dans leurs choix vestimentaires, spécialement Stéphanie.

DeleteI am not saying she is fat. But I am just going to say that this is very unflattering. Her arms look bigger. Like she cannot let them rest easily at her sides. Like a football player in safety equipment in America. The belt is not cinched at the waist to even give the illusion of a waist. She is a straight line.. bulky line. That is not a pregnancy look. She is shaped like a block in this dress.
ReplyDeleteAs to the Vatican pictures I don't see her shape at all. She wore a very short dress and some white and it looks like a block. Not trying to be mean. And by no means am I saYing she is fathe. But if you look at picures going back she has steadily become bigger. Not fat....but chunky.
I wonder if perhaps they have some fertility issues and she is on some kind of hormone therapy? I noticed a year ago that she often seemed to have a issue with some complexion problems. This too is a cause of hormone issues.
If this is the reason then I wish them much luck. She does appear to be a very gentle and sweet person. She does however, regardless of whether she is gaining weight or trying for babies need a stylist and a makeovwr. She is very dowdy ...most of the time. Way too matronly. She is a hidden gem think that needs to come out.
I'm trying to be very polite in all my comments, however, this dress - the colour, the style, the shape - doesn't suit her, and I feel very sorry for her. She has an overall matronly look, mainly in day-wear, luckily, her evening-looks are way better.

ReplyDeleteHer belt just needs another one or two notches. She is purposely holding her arms out. It is a pinterest trick that she has not perfected. I do love her perchance for Elie Saab but maybe she is in a rut? I do like this couple but would love to see her a wee bit more fashion forward!
ReplyDeleteHave to say these fat comments bothers me a bit. There is other ways to say that people have put on weight or look a little bit bigger then before in a nicer way or am I wrong..and this was not meant at criticism to they who used it. Just a thought.

DeleteYou should never say something you wouldn't say someone's face. And you don't have to use the fat word. You can say this in a nicer way. She is not fat as you proclaim, she is not a skinny anorexic as some that's true, but far from fat. And yes she is a little heavier then she used to be, but in a big dress who do you know that she has put in weight recently???
