On March 8, 2016, Queen Mathilde and King Philippe of Belgium hosted an state banquet in honor of German president Joachim Gauck and his partner Daniela Schadt at Laeken Castle in Brussels, Belgium. The German president is in Belgium for an state visit from 8 till 10 March.

    Queen Mathilde has lovely dress. Daniel Schadt has too shiny dress to my taste. Princess Astrid has obviously been skiing because she looks like panda bear.

      I understand what Kristina mean, Mathilde have a tendensy to look much older then she is. The way she style her hair does not help, but her she looks her age. Perfect hair and gown! More of this.

      Yes Louise you understood me well. Very often Mathilde dresses not her age . I am not saying she doesn't have beautiful clothes but somehow she looks much older in them than she is.
      Here I can see the difference...
