On March 21, 2016, at the Royal Palace, Queen Silvia of Sweden and Princess Sofia of Sweden attended a meeting held with the representatives of the organizations that endeavor to protect the rights of children. The purpose of the meeting is to help the refugees coming to Sweden with their families and to exchange ideas relating to the works done to help them. The meeting was attended by the representatives of Barnombudsmannen, BRIS, Care about the Children, ECPAT, Mentor Sverige, Plan International Sverige, Rädda Barnen, Scouterna, SOS Barnbyar, UNICEF and World Childhood Foundation. Also, Princess Sofia visited Riddarholm Church (Swedish: Riddarholmskyrkan) of Stockholm. |
It's lovely to see HM and Princess Sofia, working together on such a worth while project, and one that they both feel passionately about !
