Over the years, the dressing style of the Duchess of Cambridge was chic, simple, modern, classic and uncommon. The duchess went out in public with dresses or skirts of a certain length and also modern outfits. The duchess never hesitated to wear printed dresses with popular colors or dresses with embroidery or lacing but she was never seen with a shoulder bag, her preference was always a bag carried by hand. The designers she loved most were Alexander McQueen, Alice Temperley and Jenny Peckham. Despite her royal position, she was occasionally seen while shopping at Zara, H&M or any Topshop store. |
I love the DoC fashion. It is always classic, appropriate, and simple. She seems to believe in the "less is more" adage. She knows what looks good on her and sticks to that. Hopefully she will experiment and find new styles that suit her also. With her tall, lean body she could wear many more styles than she does at the moment. As her role increases it will be fun to watch. Thank you for this post!

ReplyDeleteThank you very much for these pictures!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes Anon 10:19 just waiting for the haters to appear. So unfortunate.
Catherine is lovely.
Thanks for the collage. She has a nice working wardrobe and I like 90% of what she wears for her job
ReplyDeleteThe Duchess when dressed up for evening looks better with her hair tied at least partially back. Also she looks better with a few extra pounds on her.
Katherine is thinner now than she was before and she does look better with a few extra pounds .
DeleteShe looks georgeous. She is caring and not only for her family.
ReplyDeleteShe is mature. I like her.
Young, elegant and good looking !
ReplyDeleteKate dresses appropriately and looks lovely, not more or else than most of the other royal ladies. Also it shows that no expense is spared but once again the same as ALL the royal ladies.
ReplyDeleteI like most of her outfits, nothing brown though, way too drab for anyone. Knee-length is so much more elegant than above the knee & very short.
ReplyDeleteShe looks mostly very well and I like her classic style. What I did not like was very short dresses she did wear some years ago.
ReplyDeleteVery good cavalcade of dresses.
Catherine looks most of the time lovely. When she has her hair tied, she looks even better. Must she do more often. Only the way she always stands and walks with her hands before her.... it is so uncomfortable. Nobody walks that way. I think the protocol writes it
ReplyDeleteShe has bad posture and the hands held that way accentuates this.
Delete1:34 You do not think this is stretching it a little to far of what we are entitled to comment on? It's their body, and they must be allowed to have the posture they have. We do not know the reason behind the posture and should therefore keep us from commenting on it. What you mean is a posture problem could be her back...
DeleteI agree with @1.34 her posture is not the best and with hands held in front it makes her shoulders hunch over, this is what makes her hair fall forward a lot. She has pretty hair.
DeleteWilliam holds his hands that way too and nobody complaints about it
DeleteC'est pas beau de copier le travail des autres !!!!!
ReplyDeleteje plussoie amaia !
DeleteJust one word stunning, Duchess of style and beauty.
ReplyDeleteOnly one word stunning. Duchess of style and beauty
ReplyDeleteIn the longer dresses she looks good, in shorter ones - especially when pregnant with Baby No. 1 - ridiculous or like a schoolgirl.
ReplyDeleteThank you very very much...you just know what we want...perfect to see these pictures
ReplyDeleteThank you for this compilation, interesting. I think that Kate had a perfect wardrobe during the Asian tour, the length of the skirts, the prints... Lovely! When she is at ease, and not doing a big entrance, is when she is the most beautiful. I love the style she has in the white summer dress and hairdo on the pic next to the umbrella pic (aSIA). She should try to put on a few pounds, but part from that she is a beauty (albeit looking a bit tired, like all mums...)
