Queen Mathilde of Belgium, Federation Wallonia - Brussels Minister of Compulsory Education, School Buildings, Childhood and Culture, Joelle Milquet and Namur province governor Denis Mathen visited the Saint-Joseph school in Couvin on February 3, 2016. (This visit of the Queen follows a round table on harassment in June 2015) |
ReplyDeleteHM has it all, beauty, gentleness, intelligence, and a serenity about her ! Lovely lady !
ReplyDeleteMathilde is amazing and ...I wonder if she needs a coat !!The day seems rainy!
ReplyDeleteWhat do all those royal women do with the flowers? Do they hand them over to their "dames de compagnie"? (ladies in waiting). And how come Mathilde is the only person not wearing at least a sweater or jacket, when everybody else is bundled up? She seems very sincere, not giving herself airs, I'm sure there must be days when she'd rather stay home and read a good book.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes wonder if they never suffer from migraine or any other of a small but annoying little ailment. If they do, you don't see that.
DeleteLadies in waiting? Only the old old royal ladys have those these days...These girls have a personal assistant/secretary or something like that.
DeleteLarge horizontal stripes? Not for the figure of Queen Matilde
ReplyDeleteWhy!???Is she fat????
DeleteNo she is not fat, but everybody can see that stripes do not work. They are not good on her, so agree with 5:59. They don't work on most of the population on this earth so why do they continue to make them??
DeleteGlad to see Mathilde looking really classy and elegant.
ReplyDeleteI think she is such a good looking woman but her hair style makes her look older than she is...is just me thinking this?
ReplyDeleteI think the same. The hair is too big and there is no movement in the hair. Totally agree with you.
DeleteC
I agree with you too. Beautiful woman, but she looks so "old fashioned"; she could do a lot by changig her hair style.
DeleteNo you are not. Mathilde have looked 20 years older than she is her entire royal life, her hair is old lady and so are most of her style, but once in a while she hits the mark, but not this time.
DeleteThe dress does not look good the stripes are all in the wrong place also the top appears tight .
ReplyDeleteShe looks great I think , beautiful out fit and a warm smile
ReplyDeleteI can see and understand what you are saying about the dress but I think she looks lovely. I've always admired Mathilde she goes about her duty firstly as princess and now as queen with dignity. She has a natural aura about her. To me she comes across very serene and effortlessly feminine . I always thought this family look so happy together.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree
DeleteShe seems to be reflected and warm and always trying to meet challenges.
