The dress should have been a little more transparent on the top/collar. Gets a little bit to heavy/thick and strict to the transparent arms. Looks not comfortable, but that can be because of the pregancy. Probably looked better on a model. Nowing HM it's nice and soft.

Are those H&M dresses available for "us plebs" as well? They aren't on their online webside. I also liked the shady H&M-dress she wore at the wedding of her brother, but it was nowhere to be found.

    1. H&M usually release their Conscious Exclusive collections around April, so this dress will probably be available then. The dress she wore last year was custom made for her, but you could find a similar skirt in the collection that was for sale in stores from April 2015. Try searching second hand sites for it!

  3. Victoria is amazing. She is rapidly approaching her due date yet she carries on with a heavy schedule of public appearances (not to mention her behind-the-scenes preparation & other work). This shows how strong her sense of responsibility, dedication and duty to the position she holds is.

And so do the rest of the pregnant women all over the world...

Crown Princess Victoria is having more duties on her daily schedule than Prince Carl Philips wife Sofia has on her monthly base, though Crown Princess Victoria is at least one month closer to delivery than Prince Carl Philips wife. That fact speaks loudly for itself...
And you might heard that her husband Prince Daniel just recieved the first medal for his work for the Royal Swedish Academy of Science since the late Prince Bertil of Sweden.
What a couple ! I would really welcome in the name of equality and as a reward for keeping up the responsibility of his good work and dedication for Sweden, if Prince Daniel would be made Crown Prince or later on King of the same dignity as hard working Queen Silvia of Sweden.
I just want to go down on my knees for Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel showing my respect for their hard work !

For heaven's sake! She is he Crown Princess. Sofia is far down the line of succession - you cannot compare one with the other.

    4. Anonymous 1:06 It tells nothing about Sofia and Carl Philip, it tells just that Victoria and Daniel as a crown princess couple have more work as every other crown prince/princess couple has over minor or further royals. Royal works are never divided to equal parts.

      TO: AnonymousFebruary 11, 2016 at 1:06 AM:
And who's stopping you to go down on your knees for The Crown Princess couple?! You are absolutely free to bow down to them every single day ;-D

But when you look at the statsistics, then who had the most work events/duties in 2015? The King and The Queen.
The Crown Princess had much less duties than her parents!

But I think that its quite wrong to compare "Who Worked More?" because they all have different positions and roles to fullfil.
So its nice when all family members work hard but its not possible to expect that, e.g. prince Carl Philip should have more duties at his calendar than ruling king.
So personally I respect all of them for their hard work and I don't think that one is better than the other! And although I may tend to nag at e.g at someone's hairstyle or clothes, I still like them all, its always nice to see them and I wish them well.

Completely agree with you 1:58 the only one she can be compared with is other in her role like Frederik, Haakon and Charles. Everybody knows CP have more to do then an ordianry p. And to be frankly I guess even if you are a pregnant royal you are able to attend a few function without any problem, and slow down on your other work...If 1:06 needs to go down on her knees for someone, do it for alle the ordinary women all around the world who work a full days almost up to their due date and then go home and take care of their family.

Agree, she is the Crown-Princess since she is born. Excuse me, but all the other women in the world who are pregnant, who have no help, who work really much harder physically and psychiacl than the CP Victoria. (for example a nurse)
Although it is not easy to be pregnant.
Being rich and wealthy is always not a good thing, because you forget, that the most people are really working hard although they are not stupid or less worth than rich and wealthy.
To Victoria beeing a Princess is a pleasure, because she does not know what to do with a private life. She is CP 24 houres there is not a intelectual deep.

Get down on your knees for someone who has nannies and does not have to bother about housework? Thee are many other women that deserve worshipping before one that only has to show for an hour and gets driven home to put her feet up. Nurses, emergency service workers even office workers must get public transport then spend many hours for at least 5 days a week even the women in the fields deserve this more. Victoria may well be lovely but to hero worship one who has a life of luxury is puzzling.

@Anonymous, Feb 11 @ 1:58 am - Sofia is not in the line of succession; her husband Carl Philip is (4th) and their soon to be born child (5th). Sofia will never be queen consort unless Carl Philip ascends to the throne; and the change in the succession law in 1979 and Victoria's and Daniel's second child have cemented that.

    10. I agree with many of you. the majority of pregnant women work hard beacuse they have to and nobody mentiones that as something special. An ordinary woman does not have a nanny and does all the work alone. But let's not attack women who can afford profeshional help.
Victoria and other royal ladies do their job and it is not always easy. They have many privilegies but that does not make them better or worse than anybody else.
Some of the bloggers maybe wanted to emphasize that she is doing the wright thing while working and not sitting at home due to the fact she is pregnant. She gives a good example. (I don't have to mention we have seen some lazy royals) That's all. I hope I haven't insulted anyone.
And to all future moms on this blog: Good luck, I wish you the best!

Lassie we don't blame them, we react to this sainthood behavior and how fragile and frail working royal women is according to some off the writers in here. That's why the comment of ordinary women comes.

Btw, I am curious about the shoes she wears. Seems like her feet deal with heels pretty good, in contrast to Kim Kardashian for example.

What a funny comment - Victoria has had her hair done with middle part long before she even knew Sofia, and even Queen Silvia had worn her hair like that many times, ever since the 70s...

And strangely enough no comment that only teenagers use middel part as we saw a comment Mette got. I loved Victorias hair like this and I'm not a fan of these knots usually. Would love to see her change it more. Up and down like the others lady's. She has to gorgeous hair to always hide it.

I'm okay with the hair! Not bad. Dress, can't wait to see the collection. My favorite H&M sighting was the blue maxi she wore off the plane in Africa. Feb or March of 2014? Now these earrings. I begin to think I dig them then my excitement waivers. Do we have a previous sighting of them? Or a better close up?

Sorry but this was one of the dresses that I do not like at all!
Too much is going on: all those different laces and materials, vertical cross-sections, partly see-through, snug fit, high neck...it simply gives too messy result.
But I like her hair styled like that and her makeup looks lovely.
She looks like she's ready to give birth any day now, so looking forward whether its a boy or a girl :)

  16. I love her earrings! what a woman trying new and daring things. I love her style, dress and ebullience. She is a stunning Royal. I'm so happy she found a husband who adores her and she right back at him, she is so happy, good for her. One can be very generous and serve her kingdom when so loved at home. All is well and I'm excited for her.

She looks pretty. But I am not a fan of the dress. It is like she is in pieces. Chop. Chop. Chop. Not very good when one is 8 months pregnant. I think if she was not pregnant it might play better.

    1. Well here in Scandinavia we have one month mother leave before the child is born and 10 months afterwards. After that mothers or fathers can take parenting leave from work until the child is three years old. In our specks Catherine has all the rights to take care of her children without working. And I think we have seen only this week two threads of Catherine working. But that we do not of course count.

Why the admiration? She has lived a life of opulence all her life. Oh! she got married and had a child and is expecting another and works for top wages, gets driven to work, has no worries about money and little or no house cooking cleaning.
