It's the kind of necklace wore by Maxima. But on queen Mathilde doesn't work well. Any way she wore it too symmetrically. She could have wore it like the picture above
Q. Max - my thoughts too! Q. Mathilde prefers an open neckline on garments and the size and shape of the necklace is unsuitable for the dress, as well as looking out of character. This should have been longer and more asymmetrical, exactly as you say, especially since the dress is detailed asymmetrically. But in truth I think she should just trade it off for something with coral and sapphire cabochons.
Yes, the necklace is lovely, but the size... it's just too overpowering on Mathilde. It would look better on a taller person, with dark hair e.g. Sheikha Mozah
Nobody can compete with Sheikha Mozah's style, what a knockout dresser she is! This odd necklace just does not work on Mathilde, too big for her and not big enough for the dramatic Mozah.
Why oh why do Mathilde and Maxima like Natan so much? His clothes never seem to fit them well at all, especially around the bust.
Toutes les royales ne veulent pas porter pendant 80 ans 1,2,ou 3 rangs de perles .Elles font peut être des erreurs de goûts mais elles mettent en avant des créateurs plus habiles que des effileurs de perles
Mathilde looks good...but that thing around her neck...just no.
ReplyDeletedouble no - it does nothing for her or the dress. En francais, c'est moche, a l'air d'un bijou de pacotille
