| Sophie, Countess of Wessex visited the 93 rd annual Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto on November 13, 2015. The royal agricultural fair has a long history with the Royal Family. King George V approved the use of the royal title in 1920 and the Queen is its current patron. The last time a member of the Royal Family attended the festivities was in 2009, when Prince Charles and his wife,Camilla, were present for the opening ceremonies. The Countess is currently in Toronto. Her visit ends today. |

ReplyDeleteNever mind her outfit, which is stunning, she is a very good representative of the UK. She works hard, is involved and does seem to take a great interest in whatever she is doing. Kate should study the Countess. Of couse, I like the Crown Princess Victoria, however, the Countess is a very close second if not almost equal. I have not heard the Countess speak as much as I have have heard CP Victoria speak. Neither of them puts on airs, still maintaining a regal look and still being approachable.

Deleteduchess kate is a lost cause, after stalking william for a decade while doing nothing, and 4 and half years into marriage, she still lazy, needs william to babysit her on a very simple engagement, shes indulging herself with perks of a senior royal, and when she appears, we get stupid grins and no substance at all, yes she should study countess sophie, princess mary and others!!

DeleteFrom your description of Kate’s pre-married life, it seems that you have disliked her since 2003. No wonder you are determined to denounce her today. Like the rest of us, you know nothing about her current home life, but you don’t let your own ignorance hinder you. You deny Kate the right to be regarded as “innocent until proven guilty ”, because you don’t like her. Is that just or fair?
If you had had children, or knew women who worked as a nanny- (by the way, Kate only has one nanny, other royal mothers have One Each per child), or knew mothers who hire a nanny, you would never dream of saying what you have said. If you don’t believe me, start reading the forums and reports of women telling of their early parenting experiences. Don’t forget the wealthy women or the ones with nannies. I guarantee your world view will shift.
Comparison is an elegant way to relativize positive comments.

DeleteEspecially in an interview you can see that some beautiful women always are trying to bring the focus to their beauty, but beauty is nothing without an experienced character, who knows about life and does not think she is a victim of the press, of the wealth, of men, of ....
She is great, she is not an empty person.
Very elegant. I agree, Kate could take a leaf out of Sophie's book, not necessarily to copy, just a note here and there. Style, elegance and dedication.
