Just fab! This is how to look elegant while in your mourning blacks. The cape adds an haute couture look to the outfit. 10 out of 10 for that beautiful smile. Viva la Reina!

  4. Wow! Love the coat and the fact that she wore the dress before, Well done! She can, however, gain some pounds...

  8. Very nice and savvy, wearing a German label -often favored by her- for the event.

  9. Finally some jewelery! I really like her earrings. But her arms.. She looks like a bodybuilder again. The pictures with that coat are so much better.

    1. Why would she be tense? The crowd to see her was quite large and receptive. The fellow in the pink tie seems enchanted. The other hosts are cordial. Try something new. She cannot be a permanent basket case.
About her work: She is probably very familiar with the artist who was a contemporary of Velazquez. see wiki. It was also mention that hubby is the patron of this event which is probably why the walls are painted in the color of his standard...and she is there to represent him since he had another engagement. So much to be learned from a few pictures if you have an open mind.

    3. The camera tells a different story. She has to be comfortable among these people. With the exception of her marido she has dated/married/had friendships or surrounded herself with creative people - writers, musicians, etc. -

    4. All she seems to do is "Strike a Pose" with her ridiculous posture and fake smile. She's such an arrogant and cold person

    5. Perhaps she should give up engagements entirely. Life has a way of evening things out. The universe will find a way to compensate you for this relentless hectoring. Everyone has good and poor qualities. Only maleducados focus on the latter. Viva Letizia!

Elegant and regal. I do not understand why some criticize Queen Letizia. To "Anonymous" at 25:37 your comments are full of envy to your Queen that always represents Spain as a modern and regal queen.

  16. Loved the ensemble, until the coat came off.

It may just be me, but I have never found the physiques of bodybuilders attractive - no offence intended.
