Why the star order is over her breast (her in-laws and Carl Philip wear star order near their waist).

DeleteShe is not wearing the sash properly. Did Carl Philip not show her the correct way to wear it? He's grown up looking at sashes. Did she hastily throw it on as she walked out the door?

DeleteI've been royal watcher for 5 years and I see how sashes and orders are worn by other royals. You do not see other royals ladies wear sash like a piece of cloth, order randomly tangling near her crotch!
Didn't they teach her anything before the marriage (you do not see e.g Prince Daniel wearing his sash and orders in this careless way).
Besides she's pregnant but still wearing body shaper!!?? You can clearly see spanx through her dress.
May be her royal family wear other medals, family orders.

ReplyDeleteI have nothing but praise for this young lady. She has thrown herself into the role of representing her country (the Duchess of Cambridge could take a leaf out of this young lady's book).

There are thousands of women who suffer from morning sickness but still work full-time and go to work every day (I had the worst with my first baby and every smell made me nauseous and throw up). So Sofia attending a couple of events now and then...not impressed.
DeleteIf I can give some tips: look at the pictures of her in-laws and see how its proper to wear sash and orders. You can't just hang the sash around your body like it has no meaning!
Sorry, all Sofia-lovers, if I have hurt your feelings, but she has a lot to learn about royal life. She's not a wife of average business man but a wife of royal prince and when you see something done wrong, then its only natural to say it. Hope she learns from her mistakes. She's not a stupid woman. Or what?

This is the first I have seen Princess Sofia wear her SR Sash and Star (live and learn with pregnancy); the in-laws do wear other Orders and Medals so I understand placement of the Star (Court approval), but do agree the sash move to the front of her body.
DeleteA lot of a worked when pregnant and when very sick with morning sickness. I did myself, the number one different. I didn't have people taking my photo left, right and centre. I wasn't being publicly criticized. Privately by colleagues maybe, who knows and I really don't care. Sofia has had a hell of a lot to learn. Yep it looks easy, but just remember the Princess of Whales and the Japanese Crown Princess. It may look like a fairytale, but real life isn't. It is all about how to wear this and that, and all about protocol. Frankly, in the big scheme of things of what is going on in the world right now. Sophia wear a sash incorrectly in no big deal, and if anyone is looking and can see that she is wearing Spanks - get a life!

It's time for Sofia to get maternity clothes - and don't borrow Victoria's. The dress is too tight; and the sash and orders were put on as is she doesn't care. It comes off as lack of respect for the order.
