The Countess of Wessex attends the annual BGC Global Charity Day

Sophie, Countess of Wessex attends the annual BGC Global Charity Day at BGC Partners on September 11, 2015 in London, England. (BGC Charity Day was founded in 2005 to raise money for the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund and other nonprofits as a way to honor the victims of 9/11 September. She should change the hairstyle because of the shape of her forehead. She appears in almost every post connected with British royals. That's too much. It's like she's heir to the throne.

The heir is Charles and he is working very hard, you can watch him in the official site of the British royal family.
Sophie is the patron of many charities and she is just doing her job.
She must be a role model for some lazy royals...

What about her husband? He is in her shade. And why don't you add something about fashion? This is a fashion blog after all.

    3. That is because she works unlike someone else we know. She is loved by the Queen, she is elegant, friendly.. and lots more. She deserves more credit than she gets.

But it seems she works more than William, Kate etc. It would be reasonable if they appeared in blogs more than her. Now it looks like she's their convenient replacement.

    5. I agree about the hair comment. She looks great with a softer hairdo, this one is too severe. I guess it is easy to take care of however and works with a tiara.

    6. This hairstyle would be better for her daughter.

She works much more than Kate and is as elegant as Kate is.
Sad how the press emphasizes only one some people and doesn't care about other people.

She gets more attention than other more important members of British royal family which is unapropriate.

    2. It may be unfair, but it is a fact that the photographers only focus on the young(ish) attractive females of the royal houses. Males are mostly ignored, as are the very active older women, who only get photographed if they are Queens, and sometimes not even then. the amount of photo coverage royals get rarely reflects their position in the line of succession, nor the amount of public engagements they are doing.
What I do find sad and unnecessary is how some commenters above are unable to give the Countess praise for her work, without making derogatory comparisons with other royals in the same breath. Being royal is not a competition! the British royals vare all at different stages in theri lives, they are not all peas in a pod-- each is in different circumstances. They should not all be judged by the same yardstick.
