She's a beautiful girl but doesn't have quite the right body configuration for that style, IMO. Of course, she looks great, regardless. Over time, I'm sure she'll "come into her own."
Madeleine has two kids, Victoria is pregnant, I am sure they all want to have kids but not a the same time. It would be nice to see their big families.
She's supposed to wait to get pregnant because Victoria is already? She's supposed to wait because Madeleine just had another child? That's absolutely ridiculous! The more grandkids, the better!
A child brings publicity to the royal family, of course she shouldn't steal the attention now when Victoria is pregnant. Furthermore, they have just married, why rush? Of course Silvia and Carl will have many grandkids, they have three children after all and they are all at the similar age so the grandkids are similar age which is nice. I am not saying Sofia should wait long, but maybe now is not the moment.
Prince Edward, youngest son of Queen Elizabeth, was born March 10, 1964 - the same year as Lady Helen Taylor, James Ogilvy and Lady Sarah Chatto - all children of the queen's cousins or sister. Your argument is rubbish.
Every situation is unique, Carl and Sophia are very popular now, the whole wedding "stole" a lot of attention and if they had a baby now it would cause much more attention than Victoria's child. And why shouldn't they have some space, they have just married. In conclusion, it all comes natural, let's see how it will be. And one more thing-try not to cause fights over unimportant things by your extremely rude comments.
You say it all comes natural right after you say the wedding stole the attention and they need space. So which is it? My comments aren't rude - just pointing out inconsistencies.
As for rude comments - this site is one of the most poorly moderated out there. There are people making ad hominen attacks on several members of the royal families. Those are the remarks that should not be alllowed.
Yes, it comes natural for the majority, but in the beginning of the comment I expressed my opinion on the topic. Using words as "rubbish" is considered rude. You don't agree with me but you don't even know how to comunicate properly, no arguments, no manners. I feel sorry for you.
I have just read the comments and I must admitt some od them are extremely stupid. First, we discuss fashion here and some discuss behaviour, we like some royals, hate some and that's ok. But discussing each other and fighting over opinions-it made me laugh. Sorry, but I had to be honest and share this with you.
Sofia's dress was not appropriate for the formal occasion. What did she think at home when Carl Philip emerged in a black suit and black bow tie? She has several long gowns she could have chosen from; instead, she chose a casual dress, nude pumps, and wore her heavy wristwatch (even Victoria removed hers). She is out of place in the group photo, just cover her up and see the difference it makes. Nobody told her what to wear? Nobody wants to help the new princess fit in?
Plz keep your silly opinions to yourself. U seem to be one of those jealous ppl out there who r mad Carl married Sofia and not u, so u will find anything to complain about. Grow up! Sofia looked lovely and I'm sure her husband appreciated it. In the end it's his opinions that matter, not yours.
No really, she was under dressed and you can see that for your self, it has nothing to do with jealousy-how ignorant is that. Look at the context of everyone else and the event taking place, she was under dressed, it is as simple as that.
Anonymous 5:38's comment is out of context with the topic we're discussing, that's for sure. What Anonymous 10.11pm 6 September said was right. Personally, I think Sofia's dress is lovely but "based on the fabric of the dresses, Sofia's dress look more right for a daytime event, or for going out on a date. The crochet looks out of place for a black tie event."
Anonymus 12:10 you are wright. The dress is not appropriate for the ocasion. I don't understand why people are so childish. We discuss fashion here. Anonymus 5:38 obviously adores this royal couple and thinks that every honest but bad comment will hurt their repuration. Please stop with that.
Yes the dresses Victoria wore truly look like cocktail dresses, based on the fabric of the dresses. Sofia's dress look more right for a daytime event, or for going out on a date. The crochet looks out of place for a black tie event.
What s pity that she did not wear long dress for the official dinner. Did something happen with the one she intended to wear and she had to wear the red one instead?
I don t like this dress, i don t like the color, i don t like the hair of Sophia, always long, both sides of the head. But another time she is beautiful
The dress code was set to meet any guest among the 200 people invited. From smoking to *dark suit*. Therefore the gap' between Victoria and Sofia is perfectly correct

ReplyDeleteHopefully she'll be joining Victoria in maternity clothes soon!
ReplyDeletePlease no, let them enjoy being newly married first, there is time for that later.

DeleteSofia was a beautiful bride and will be a great mother, but let's see Victoria first. Hope they all have many kids and enjoy their lives!

ReplyDeleteI thought she should have worn a long gown too. I think she'll get it in due time.

DeleteBut last year at the same event Victoria had on a short short pink dress..then it was OK. ..
DeleteAnonymus 5:38 you are being annoing with you comments. We discuss fashion here, it is ok not to like Sofia's dress. Why are you so obsessed with them?

DeleteYeah, an epic fail for this outfit, please return it.
ReplyDeleteVictoria has worn cocktail dresses to the Sweden Dinner the last couple years, so what Sofia wore was perfectly appropriate.

Deleteyes princess sofia dress is good but not in formal occasion I will wear this on a date
ReplyDeleteMaybe sofia has not been informed of the ocasion or it was her even required that they should go as Cinderella, similar to Princess Charlene.
ReplyDeleteNot informed? She IS a royal, of course she was informed, she didn't come from nowhere.
DeleteWhat s pity that she did not wear long dress for the official dinner. Did something happen with the one she intended to wear and she had to wear the red one instead?
ReplyDeleteI don't like that dress at all. And it's twice as expensive as Victoria's!
