| On September 18, 2015, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark attended the Danish Home Guard’s field exercise of "Svend Gønge" in Vordingborg Barracks in Vordingborg, Denmark. The Crown Princess has been a member since 2008 and was in 2009 appointed lieutenant in the Home Guard. In connection with today’s exercise the Crown Princess was appointed to first lieutenant. The Home Guard is a volunteer military organisation. |
