It's hard to match blacks because they may have blue or brown undertones that look different under various lights. As for Queen Sofìa,by far my favorite Queen, she's always appropriate and so classy, a Queen in a category of her own.
This is the new dress code for a modern queen: showing her bra through a sheer shirt...it seems she didn't learn from her mistake when she wore the same see-through shirt last year at a concert but with a white bra...
Her main job is as Consort is to support the King. Gramps was 98, the end of a long and eventful life. Most people feel honoured to have been part of if and do not go into protracted periods of mourning. More than likely he would not have wanted her to do that.

ReplyDeleteBad choice of whatever she is wearing. Even Queen Sophia is not wearing a nice outfit.

ReplyDeleteYou're contradicting yourself. There was a change. She switched from a white bra to a black one. Perfectly acceptable for a semi formal dinner.
DeleteHer grandfather just passed...how is this acceptable? She should have just stayed home.

DeleteQueen Letizia was #8 in Vanity's Fair list of best dressed women. Only royal in the list but for Charlotte Casiraghi that was #3
ReplyDeletemais elles n'ont pas le même âge; il faut comparer Letizia et Mette
DeleteA validation of Varela's work.
