What a class act HM is!!! She was born after WWII in a different continent yet she found compassion in her heart to pay respect to her country's heroes. Very much unlike the giggling Mary!!! Bravo Your Majesty Queen Maxima!!!

ReplyDeletePlease watch it again. I am not referring to the one where she honored Australia solders but the Danish ones. She was full of laughter!!! What a "happy occasion" laughing at the Danish solders who lost their lives defending their homeland. Mary was one happy camper at the ceremony honoring Danish heroes. Bad news for Mary with the birth of the Cambridge baby girl Mary's chances of become a Queen of Australia just diminished more. I wish she would show some even a smallest bit of respect to her adopted country who provides her with all the Prada she could get. But this post is not about her, it is about the ever gracious, beautiful, intelligent, compassionate Her Majesty Queen Maxima. The world does not revolved around that other narcissist I am excluding the Prada as the world. That one Mary definitely rules.... Enough said!!!

Mary wasn't 'giggling' - at the ceremony for Danish heroes. She was talking to someone and smiling.
The Danes lost their lives many years ago - you don't have to wear the appearance of an undertaker. You can still smile and talk.
Your burning hate must be due to envy. For some resason you envy Mary - or if you are not Danish - you envy Denmark having this beautiful Queen-to-be.

DeleteI don't think you realize the purpose of this event in Amsterdam. It is not just for the victims of the second world war, but also for any soldier that died in the line of duty, during a peace keeping missing or otherwise. So please be a bit more respectful to our queen as you expect this from other people on this site.

I noticed that too. Maxima is definitely reining in her usual exuberant self. She's so naturally pleasant, it was most likely a huge effort to keep that stern face on. Poor thing probably wants to avoid getting bashed if someone takes an incidental photo of her smiling or even -- god forbid -- "giggling!" '-)
