The dress is pretty but I wouldn't have opted for a repeat. She chose to WOW us with the jewelry which is impressive but I somehow dislike it with that dress. Good thing she finally wore her hair up (she always styles her repeats the same, making her outfits even more boring - no wow factor with hair or accessories. )

Agreed. I think a gala at the Met (and her first appearance in NYC no less) calls for something new and the dress-jewel combo doesn't work for either, Yeah on her hair being up! I think she looks much prettier when she wears it up instead of in those long, limp curls.
