On Thursday 20 December, King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Madeleine and Mr Christopher O'Neill attended the Swedish Academy's formal gathering at the Stock Exchange in Stockholm.
The gathering began with a speech by writer and professor Anders Olsson. Writer and member of the Swedish Academy, Kristina Lugn then read an extract from a forthcoming volume of memoirs.
