Today, official photo session on the occasion of engagement between Prince Felix and Claire Lademacher took place at the Chateau Berg. On 13 December 2012, the Grand Ducal household confirmed Prince Félix's engagement to Claire Lademacher. Prince Félix of Luxembourg (Félix Léopold Marie Guillaume; born 3 June 1984) is the second son of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa. He is currently third in the line of succession.
Prince Félix was born in 3 June 1984 at the Grand Duchess Charlotte Maternity Hospital in Luxembourg. He is the second of the five children of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, the others being: Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, Prince Louis, Princess Alexandra and Prince Sébastien. His godparents are Prince Jean and Catalina Mestre. He was named after his great-grandfather, Prince Felix of Bourbon-Parma.
Claire was born on 21 March 1985 in Filderstadt, Germany. She is the second child of Gabriele and Hartmut Lademacher. Her father, founder of LHS Telekommunikation and owner of castles in Croatia and Saint-Tropez, began his career at IBM and amassed an estimated €600 million by investing in the software industry.
