What a lovely dress, and Zara looks good in it.
I think I'd prefer it with either just the lace at the top, or just the flower, but not both together. Or...have the flower set a few inches lower on the dress, so it doesn't clash with the lace at the top. The dress is all lace as we can see, and it fits her very well.

It’s obvious you don’t know the British Royal family.

A couple always looking-out for money, business, profiting from Zara's membership to the royal family.

Anon 14.22 While it’s true that being part of the royal family can bring attention and opportunities, it’s important to remember that Zara has always had her own successful career, particularly in equestrian sports, and has never been as public about using her royal status for business as others might expect. It’s also worth noting that everyone, whether in the public eye or not, is trying to make a living in their own way.

Zara does not use any Royal titles for her again like Duchess of Montecito

I agree, Anon 18:57. Zara's affluent upbringing has given her different opportunities that most regular folks don't typically have, but she has used her knowledge and experience to craft a career. Zara and Mike are self-supporting which should be praised, not ridiculed.

@Anon 10:53 Zara doesn't use any royal titles because she doesn't have any. Her mother refused them for her and her brother from the time they were born.

  5. Always a pleasure to see Zara. Dress is nice but she could have done with more impactive earrings ( à Queen Maxima!) I have read articles recently commenting on how dull the British monarchy has become without any youthful glamour and that the King should consider widening his pool of ‘working royals’. The King and Queen, the Princess Royal, the Gloucesters and Edinburghs are all hard working and dutiful but the style and colour of the York Princesses and Zara would be a real boost.

The Brits have always dressed more conservatively, it has nothing to do with their age. The York gals I would not consider style icons, some of their choices have been just dreadful, not suited to their body type.

Interesting comments. I actually find her fine earrings in good keeping with Queensland summer culture; more “impactful” earrings would look too much. She looks understated and very well; down to earth and not too made up fits in much better then over-blonded, over-decorated, etc. Re the article you reference, I wonder whose opinion that was? Charles deliberately slimmed the working royals pool down, not to make the pool bright or dull, but to be in keeping with modern times and budgets. A move I think is correct!

A very unique dress, looks good on Zara. The bold embroidery is very nice, but for me I think a softer , not so bright white contrast would be more my taste. Lace is lovely

Anonymous 15:35, if a person finds another beautiful, that’s a beautiful comment. Please don’t bring them down by asking them not to carried away! I too find her beautiful and would be most offended if you tell me to change my opinion - we are strangers here afterall - let’s be kind strangers!

I do not agree with you. To me she is much more beautiful than other female members of the royal family. Good for her to have a very active life, it keeps people young.

She’s doesn’t actively seek the spotlight in the same way, she tends to receive less commentary about her role or title. Not a brainer…

Zara has no Royal title but I see no complaints as we did concerning The Duchess of Sussex where her fashion was available for comment!

Anon 17.24 It’s worth noting that public figures, whether titled or not, often face different levels of scrutiny based on their visibility and actions. The Duchess of Sussex's fashion became a topic of widespread discussion, partly because of her high-profile role within the royal family and the public interest surrounding her every move. Zara, on the other hand, tends to keep a lower profile in comparison, which may explain why her style or choices don't generate as much debate. The level of criticism often varies depending on the individual's public role and the media's focus.

I love Zaras dress, not a fan of the flower in front. She looks fantastic anyway. Hope they enjoy their time in Australia.
